Order 1 size larger they tend to run small. Love them!!!!

I finally have warm hands!

I’ve tried so many different gloves, nothing kept my hands warm in morning teens-twenties weather. I saw these, read reviews saying some thought they could be a bit TOO warm and realized I had to try them. They work! Not too warm for me; I figure if I’ve finally stopped thinking about my cold hands all the time then they’re working! I have poor circulation in my fingertips so in the coldest weather I’ve worn these in (single digits plus some wind chill) my fingertips were a bit cold. There’s enough room inside these that I could stitch in a patch of wool I’ve fulled in the washer to go just around my fingertips if I need more warmth, but so far I’m not inclined to do so. The thumbs have a softer patch of material on the outside to use for runny noses that I use for wiping my eyes. They tear up quite a bit in cold weather and I look like I’m crying, lol. Overall if you’ve got cold hands, try these! I may not be able to use my electronic devices while wearing these mitts but it’s a small price to pay for warm hands.

Okay at or above freezing. Retains sweat/moisture.

Not well insulated for weather below freezing. Even with a hand warmer pack in there, my thumb was left out cold. The red color is more of an apple red than maroon. The lining of the mittens retains moisture/sweat, and I had to put them on a boot dryer to remove the moisture. I ended up buying electric heated mittens for my freezing-and-below walks - they cost less than some of the priciest heavily insulated mittens (e.g. Hestra). I had hoped these Carhartt mittens would be good for lower temps, but they aren't. They do keep out the wind. Note that my circulation isn't very good and I get cold fingers very easily.

So warm!

I hate having cold hands. These gloves solve that problem!! They are WARM!! They keep out the snow, wind, and cold. Of course you will lose dexterity while wearing them, so they don’t work well for driving and such, but if you’re out and about in the cold and don’t need to use your hands much, they’re great. They’re a life saver in the morning car rider line at school!

Warm mittens!

Mittens are extremely warm and perfect for our winters. They are well made. I purchased a size L and they are a bit snug--I wish they had offered size XL and I would exchange them.

Perfect for cold windy weather

Exactly what you need for cold windy weather. Fabric is mostly wind proof so your fingers stay warm and comfortable.

Great mitten

The colors are very nice. The size is accurate. It's soft and warm inside. I've used it to shovel snow. Kept my hands warm. I am cold temperature sensitive. It probably will not keep my hands warm without gloves inside when it's bitterly cold in February. But not anything else does either. They're very soft and comfortable and warm

Great winter mittens

These are nice warm mittens, and are definitely waterproof. After an hour of playing outside in the snow with my boys, they were still nice and dry and toasty warm. I really like the soft interior, and the gusseted wrist which keeps the snow out. The only thing I didn't like, is that in the picture it looks like a plum colour, but it's actually pretty red. I don't hate the color though, and I'm definitely pleased with them.

Wrong colour

Not even close to the colour. It’s more red than anything. However they seem to be good quality mitts

Cute, comfortable, but not as warm as I hoped

I love these! They are cute, really comfy and the price was good. I purchased a Large as per what the measurements said (although I am usually XS or S in mittens) and they fit perfectly. They looked really big, but it was the right fit. So if you follow the measurement instructions, it should work. I am just disappointed in terms of keeping me warm. They are great, but I thought they would keep my hands warmer skiing. Keeping in mind it was -15C, my fingers did get cold pretty quickly. They are still better than most mittens (and my fingers get cold very easily), but I still will search for a warmer pair and figure I have to just pay more.
