Purchased because of Carhartt material qualities, strong, tough, durable.
Price is high but willing to pay for quality and durability. Purchased specifically for Carhartt material capabilities: strength, toughness, durability. Product was well made. Specifically recommended for heavy chewers. Had very high hopes. 18 month old Olde English Bulldogge loved it. Took him exactly 6 minutes to chew/tear gaping holes in it. Returned it same day. Would recommend for a normal dog. Save your money if you have a hellhound.

Great little bed for my two boxer mixes. Its not a "supportive" type bed, just a big soft square. Would buy it again.

Awesome Heavy Duty Dog Bed - High Quality!
We've been searching for a high quality dog bed that delivers; with a name like Carhartt, it's no wonder this bed stands apart. Quality craftsmanship, heavy duty zipper, and strong, durable fabric make this bed the best one we've ever owned. Most dog bed manufacturers advertise "high quality" with a picture of what appears to be luxurious, comfy, and durable...and yet, when they arrive they fail miserably. We decided to spend a bit more, based solely on the name and proven performance, and we are so glad we did! Our chocolate lab is nearly 100 lbs and he definitely lives up to his name..."Brutus". This is his fourth bed in less than a year and it's the ONLY one that his withstood his rough & tumble attitude. I highly recommend this to anyone who is willing to pay a little extra to get quality and performance that will not disappoint!

Dogs love
It’s the perfect size for my big dogs! Sometimes two of them like to lay together on it. Cleans up easily in washer and I often vacuum hair off of it with no problem. Has held up the best out of all dog beds I’ve purchased so far!

Simple, well-made, easy to clean
I bought one of these, size large, almost 3 years ago. My ~80 pound dog spends many hours on it every day. She's not a big chewer so I cannot comment on the "chew proof" quality. In other respects it has held up very well. There's not much to distinguish it from other beds (no faux fur, no bolsters). Well, there's the Carhartt look. Otherwise, it's just a simple, rectangular, well-made dog bed. The plain design means there aren't a lot of nooks and crannies to trap fur, dust, and debris. If you're familiar with Carhartt work clothes, the quality and style is about the same. The brass zipper is concealed under a flap and it stays closed, unlike the cheap plastic zipper on my dog's other bed, which is one of those big fluffy donut-shaped beds that gets tons of positive reviews on Amazon. This Carhartt bed seems to be more durable and easier to clean. The filling does not flatten out much (again, unlike the other bed's) but is soft enough that she can scrunch it up like a pillow. "Large" is about perfect for her. We've always had it on an area rug; on bare hardwood floors, it might slip around. Unfortunately, the price has skyrocketed from the $77.50 I paid in 2020. I suspect a lot of that increase is to cover the "free" shipping costs.

Dogs love this but it's not chew proof
My dogs really love this bed. Unfortunately it's not chew proof. We've been through 4 of them in the last 9 months. This one lasted less than 24 hours! When they do last, they are easy to clean and stay soft for a long time.

Dog LOVES this bed!
I bought this bed for my Chocolate Lab over 6 months ago and I absolutely love this bed! My husband wears Carhartt work pants, and the material is the exact same. It is super durable and strong. This bed has survived the digging phase, the pee accidents, the vomitting, etc. It is super easy to clean; the zipper (which is heavy duty - definitely wont break!) opens and the inside stuffing can be easily removed. The bed can be easily thrown into the washer and dryer. Because of the thickness of the material, if you catch the mess in time, it won't seep through. The inside stuffing is huge and makes the bed very fluffy and soft. I have had troubles cleaning the inner stuffing but I simply rinsed the soiled area and it was fine. Overall, the quality and comfort of this bed is amazing, and I would highly recommend this bed to anyone!

Ridiculously overstuffed
Seemed to be filled with the stuffing from a larger bed making it so inflated my dog couldn’t get on it. Canvas cover is exactly the quality I’d expect but the stuffing part leaves a lot to be desired. Had to zip the cover round his old bed so he was able to sleep on it.

Comfortable and chew resistant
We are happy with this bed. Our dog is very destructive with beds so I wanted something tough and chew resistant. So far she hasn’t tried to chew it! The only thing that isn’t great is that it is so thick and puffy it doesn’t leave much room in her crate for her to be able to sit up or stand in the crate, so it would be better if being used outside of the crate. Otherwise, it is a nice bed, I would recommend it.

Not durable at all!!
The claim that this bed is durable and difficult to damage is completely false. We bought two of these beds and this is a picture of what was left of them after a few nights. Total waste of money!
