THE GO TO SOCK

So I've been meaning to review these since getting them and glad my busy schedule didn't allow me until now because I've put some miles on these babies. And the verdict is in. These are my go to socks. I work upto 16 hours a day and have a 2 hour commute every day. I'm on and off my feet, put in 20k step a day in them and when it's time to take them off I have a dry foot that's been cushioned all day and they are keeping their structure which anyone e who has issues with socks that often begin to stretch out or fray from use will understand the importante of. Get them before I buy them out.

The most oddly shaped sock of all time, still wear them twice a week

I wear these socks twice a week in my work boots and don't have much of an issue with them. As the weather's gotten colder I find myself picking out warmer socks instead of these so they're not the warmest. They would be a great pick for all-season socks if they weren't so oddly shaped. For reference I'm a skinny guy with size 9 1/2 shoes. These socks are far too big for my feet and have about an extra inch and a half or more of toe room that ends up pulling the heel up to my ankle. So they're too big...but at the same time the calf area of the socks are super tight even on me who has skinny legs, so I can't imagine a bigger guy squeezing in to these things whatsoever so I have to wonder who are these socks designed for? At the end of the day my legs are often itchy and sore from the fabric being so tight around my legs and rubbing my leg hair, but most socks do and they still get the job done. I guess they would be 5 star socks if you are a size 11+ with sticks for legs

Both better and worse than you expect

Cushioned footbed - great, comfortable, seems really durable Length of footbed - these are big socks that will fit your massive hobbit feet really well. And you know what they say about big socks....big feet. Calf segment - here’s where things really get weird. I read this in another review, and assuming that people on the internet are just nuts and chronic complainers, I totally discounted what buddy was saying. But, listen to this because it’s totally true. THESE SOCKS HAVE THE NARROWEST, TIGHTEST, MOST CALF-TORTURING UPPER YOU’VE EVER FELT BEFORE. I mean, I’ve always been ashamed of my bony, tiny-ankled chicken legs and complete absence of calf muscle bulk, so imagine my surprise when I found a sock that even my toothpick, birthday-candles for legs had a hard time fitting. While the upper is elasticized through its length and would probably accommodate a wide variety of calf muscles, the very topmost ring of the sock is not, and is almost a fixed diameter. It seems to be sewn from a very poorly elasticized material. Like, the top ring is the same diameter as the rest of the sock, and it doesn’t give at all. If you do manage to get these calf socks up to their intended height, then you might want to enter some kind of olympic strong man competition because you’d definitely be the gold-medal favourite. And if you can tolerate them being up there for more than 10 seconds, you might just be 50 shades greyer than you realized. I think these socks might actually be from a bad batch, because it just makes no sense why anybody would make them like this.

Best work socks I've found

I love these socks. I go through socks very quickly as I have one foot a half size bigger than the other but the extra thickness that these have at the heel and toe means they are more resilient to wearing when it's from the foot as well as from the footwear. One slight downside is the fit around the calf is tight and a thin band and I'd prefer that to be a wider band so the pressure is spread over a wider area. These are the best work socks for me by far that I've found and worth the price.

NOT "crew" sock ! More like knee high !!

We bought these socks for my husband 1-2 years ago and he is still wearing some of them...they were excellent socks in every area. They are the only socks he wears. Just got 4 new pair and they are almost knee high ! He is going to keep them but I think Amazon should check more closely when they get new stock in to see that it is in fact the same as what they have been advertising.

Invest in a couple. Worth the price.

Long and very snug sock that has more than enough padding to take the edge off of wearing steel toe boots all day. It won't save your feet by themselves but it's definitely something you want to buy a couple packs of. I wear above ankle socks and these over top of them.
