Your carburetor problem solver!

I kept having running rich and popping out of the exhaust even after putting 3 different nikki carburetors on my 13.5 briggs engine on my riding mower. Finally bought this carburetor installed it and it sputtered a bit then cleared up and runs great! It looks like this is a redesigned carb. It still shows Nikki on it but doesn't have the typical mixture screw. Also the fuel shutoff solenoid isn't the one shown it's the short walbro type. I can't say enough about this carburetor.

Fuel shut off solenoid connection different.

Have not installed yet still doing research. According to part number 593433 it should have the straight shaft solenoid. Don’t know if it’s relevant. It does actuate when connected though. Not sure if Briggs and Stratton started a new design. Update: installed and works great. Must just be a new design.

Perfect fit for my older Craftsman tractor

Perfect fit for my older Craftsman tractor, even with this model being an "updated" version of the original. All bolts and gaskets fit exactly, and reassembly was a breeze.

Fit perfectly! Only wish the rest of the mower would now function. At least the Carburetor is pouring fuel out anymore.
