Comes ready to use

I had a bad day, but when I pulled in my driveway and saw the box I hoped it was going to be better and it was. This is the chair I wanted and it’s everything I wanted. The locking mechanism works great. I can lean back and give my back a much-needed break. I hope it lasts. Otherwise I’ll be back to re-review it. lol

comfortable and light weight

I'm 5'8" and it fits perfectly. I looked hard to find a chair that was not 'oversize' and this one is just right. I did notice that the chair did not initially change positions easily. I added a tiny bit of light weight oil (I used trig-flow) to the moving parts and now it smoothly changes position. Love it!

Excellent value for the money.

I bought one of these a few months ago for camping and very recently bought a second one so I have a pair. I have owned 'zero gee' recliners before and these are VERY nice for the price. 1 - Sturdy. I am 6'0" and about 270 lbs. The chair holds my frame and weight just fine. The arms are much more solid than on similar chairs I have owned in the past, and nicely integrate the hinge into the hand hold that you will use to help recline the chair. 2 - Excellent fabric. This can't be over-stated. I use these chairs outdoors and in the past I have had chairs that are lightly padded... Thats nice but at a campsite (or your back yard patio) stuff can get rained on. These chairs dry out *fast* thanks to the mesh fabric. Side by side with padded zero gee loungers I'm sitting at the campfire hours before the padded chairs have dried out enough to sit on. 3 - Powder coated frame. Powder coating is much sturdier than paint. Having these chairs at campsites means they are dragged around in the dirt and mud, then brushed off. Putting them in the car afterwards you just take a towel and do a quick wipe of the feet and they're clean as a whistle and no damage to the finish. 4 - Good locking mechanism. Some people have reported problems figuring them out but they work great. The chair has a toothed-gear mechanism under the arms that is locked into place via two unobtrusive thumb rings you might miss if you don't look carefully. Hook your thumbs one in each ring while sitting in the chair and pull straight down. You're locked. You can lock at any point in the recline range. Don't make the mistake of trying to get up while the chair is even partially reclined. That puts a ton of stress on the mechanism and is sure to do bad things to the chair. Unlock it, sit forward and then you can get up out of the chair. Why did I give it only 4 stars rather than five? The head cushion. Now first of all the cushion is well made and has a good attachment mechanism to the back. Its only flaw is its very thin. Maybe just an inch or so thick. I'd like to see something more substantial as I have had on other chairs like this. Other than that - and thats a personal-taste thing - its perfect.

Suffice it to say you're wasting time by reading this. You should just go buy it immediately and use the time you saved to make yourself a milkshake in honor of this spectacular purchase. • It comes pre-assembled. Yes, all of it. Absolutely no effort required. Estimated assembly time: none. I can't remember if I had to attach the pillow, but if so, whatever, it's basically no effort. • It comes neatly folded up and covered in one plastic cover. That's right - the only stuff to discard/recycle is one (thin and reasonably sized) cardboard box and one plastic bag. That's all. • The chair is both lightweight and sturdy. But heavy enough not to get blown around in wind and whatnot. It has struck a perfect balanced unity, like yin and yang. • The pillow. It's not much, but it's like coming back to a cleaned hotel room and seeing a little chocolate on the pillow. You're gonna eat that chocolate, just like you're going to use this pillow. Which adjusts, by the way, and latches around the back using and elastic velcro band that holds just fantastically. • The width of this chair is perfect. I am a man and I was able to comfortably sit cross-legged while reclined without feeling like my knees were miles outside of the chair - if that isn't a metric for perfection, I don't know what is. • The width between the armrests is divine. As in, truly designed to perfection by a higher power. • The reclining function is intuitive. The chair is finely balanced, probably using the same technologies used in spaceships and in first class on the best airlines. It's easy to recline/un-recline and stay to any degree within the range - yes, it's not just "completely sitting" or "completely reclined" - simply by pushing or pulling one's feet ever so slightly on the footbar. • The reclining function is smooth as butter. No noise, other than that of the gentle breeze and whistling birds serenading you whenever you're going to space in the Zero Gravity chair. • This is on Amazon Prime. You could be going to space in this chair by the weekend if you act quickly. There are some rights bestowed upon all man and woman - laws not ordained by politics but rather inherited from the earth. These include freedom, safety, health, and this chair. This chair should be a universal human right. May the designers of this brilliant device forever be blessed and rewarded for their contribution to mankind.

Need a carry bag or Velcro chair closure

Love the chair, it does need a bag for carting it or Velcro to keep it all together for transport as it does not seem to lock in place snd opens up when trying to transport it.

Great Chair

Considering the price, this is a very good product. The locking device works well, but it tends to disengage now and then. It can however be adjusted so this doesn’t happen after a little learning curve. I plan to buy another one soon.

Mostly Good Chair

The chair seems sturdy, and the recline and the lock mechanisms work fine so far. Though I do find the seat narrow compared to other zero gravity chairs.

Great chairs!

This is the second time buying these as my first ones went with my house I sold. I have hip problems and these chairs are extremely comfortable putting no pressure on my lower back or hips. Love them and comfy to recline in any position.

La estructura metálica tiene un muy buen recubrimiento contra la intemperie ya que la he utilizado en la costa y no ha mostrado oxidación aunque si recomiendo que cuando no se utilice se guarde en el interior
