A bit expensive for the amount you get but it works.
I have a coffee maker with a burr grinder. The coffee I buy tends to be fresh and because of this it is still sort of “oily”. After a month of using my new coffee maker I heard it start to struggle when grinding. I figured I the grinder was plugged up needed to be cleaned. Problem is…..the manufacturer sealed the grinder on my coffee maker. I was kicking myself for not seeing this until I did some research and found this grinder cleaner. It works exactly as advertised. Supposedly the residue from this stuff won’t hurt you but I ran a little coffee through after using it to clean the stuff out. The result was a happy burr grinder and great fresh ground coffee. This little jar is the cheapest on Amazon, but you don’t get very much. Next time I am going to get a larger amount from someone else making my purchase cheaper per ounce. I plan to clean my grinder once a month going forward.

I presume this stuff is working....
So I've had my Capresso coffee grinder forever and use it all the time. I bought this since I figured it was time for some sort of "deep clean" but of course there isn't really a way to verify if it's really doing what it says on the tin. It went through the machine without any problems, the smell is pleasant, and I hope there aren't any chemicals in it but you can't tell from the ingredient list. It says to clean out the remaining product one should run coffee beans through twice; not so pleased about that since beans are expensive. Anyway, I'll use up the container but not so sure I'll buy another unless the coffee somehow tastes better.

Easily the most miraculous product in my kitchen
Good grief. I thought my Capresso burr grinder was broken. My daughter, who worked at Peet's Coffee, tipped me off to this product. It was more expensive than the commercial stuff, but I didn't need to buy in that quantity. The miracle occurred so quickly. I used about 40-50% of the amount in the container, which was probably overkill. It immediately went to work. I turned the dial and - boom - the white powder was coming out. I am delighted. I won't need to use this again for some time. I'm glad I didn't buy too much. The burr grinder itself might be almost 10 years old. I will probably get another decade out of this thing.

Saved my formerly unusable grinder.
I cleaned my expensive OXO grinder that quit working in just a month. It died just after the return window expired. It now works flawlessly but only with light roast coffee. I am very displeased with the grinder but so glad I can clean it and restore it to functionality. I use medium roast coffee so I will be cleaning it frequently.

Back of the label says it's distributed by Urnex, so it's most likely the same thing as Grindz
It says "Manufactured exclusively for Capresso by Urnex Brands LLC" on the back of the sticker label. It's probably the same thing, so I'd say it's safe to buy whatever is cheaper. Works fine. Dusty as per usual after grinding. You want to air spray or pop in some stale coffee to clean out the dust afterwards.

Does about the same thing as a brush and a paper towel.
I was expecting more, but this really just grinds some inert material and cleans the burr area. I can do the same thing with a brush and a paper towel. I think dry rice might work just as well, but I have not tried that.
