Perfect
Costume was great! Fit wonderfully and I loved the puffed out belly, the only problem was it was hard to see out of the mask just where the eye holes were, and since my child has glasses it made it even harder, but he typically never wears it the whole time anyway just keep that in mind!

Worth the money!
A little pricey, but my kid had asked to be Captain Underpants the last two Halloweens. He also wanted to wear this for the book character parade at school. He didn’t wear the mask bc it was a little much, but the costume was fabulous. He wore it multiple times and people raved over his costume! He received so many compliments and it was different than a regular ol super hero costume!

This costume is great and my son loves it! He’s 6 and it’s a tad big on him, but that just means he can use it for longer! My ONLY COMPLAINT is the use of Velcro closure. Yes, it’s cheaper, but it SNAGS constantly and ruins the costume. Please oh please use snaps or a zipper. Other than that it’s perfect!

comfortable costume, uncomfortable mask
There is velcro that runs pretty much all the way up the back, but you need a shirt underneath, so it doesn't get itchy. My son said its as pretty comfortable. It's not difficult to move in and we went through two nights of trick or treating with no complaints from him about the comfort, which is a big deal because he has sensory issues. The mask was a little bit awkward. It was very wide and deep, and had three foam blocks that pressed against his face to hold it in position. He hated it, but he was a trooper and kept it on. If you have a particular child, they may not enjoy the mask

Quality merchandise. My son loves it!
My son LOVES this costume. He normally wears a size 5 so it’s a tad bit too big (I ordered a small 4-6), but it works. He tried it on with his fleece pajamas, and it was still loose-fitting and comfortable. The eye holes are somewhat small for a mask, but it’s not something I would let him use while trick-or-treating anyway. I wouldn’t go so far as to cut out the mesh, but that’s just me. The cape we received was a large, but everything was still brand new. I like the fact that it’s a little bigger anyway...he can use it for awhile longer. It wasn’t even noticeable until I looked at the tag. The costume is very sturdy and well made...quality fabric was used to construct this piece.

Looks great but mask hard to see through
The costume is great and we love it BUT the functionality of the mask should have been more thought out before production. My son is obsessed with Captain Underpants and loves the costume. After him trying it on and goofing off in it, his father and I joked around putting on the mask. I'm so glad we did! You can barely see through the tan mesh eye holes. I'm not a safety freak but there is no way I can feel good about my son walking around trick-or-treating with this on! He would be crossing streets and walking up stairs practically blindfolded! Even walking in the brightest and best situation would be a challenge. But since he loves it we'll keep it and alter the eye holes by removing the mesh (that is like looking through a Kleenex).

Great costume for child.
This was a great Halloween costume for my 9 yr old. Everyone enjoyed it. However, the foam parts that were designed to poof out became slightly crushed in packaging or shipping, so his belly was slightly mishappen.

Super cute and hilarious costume!
My son wore this on Halloween and was the star of the show! Everyone young and old smiled and commented on this costume. Super rad! Very unique. Quality is decent, regular Halloween costume quality. Mask was hard to see out of. Made it a bit hard to wear it while trick or treating and frankly without the mask you are just a fat guy in undies. But again people loved seeing him so it was worthwhile.
