Great item
Definitely size down but they are amazing

Not for short women & definitely intended for exercise
I’m 5’2 and a size 12/14, so I ordered the XL. These pants were nearly half-a-foot too long. I confess I didn’t look at the sizing chart, so perhaps a L or M would’ve been better for length, but then I worry about them being too small in the waist/hips (such is the bane of the curvy, short girl!). Also, the fabric is heavy spandex/nylon. If you’re looking for workout pants, these are classic Capezio meant for exercise, and they’re very high quality. But if you’re like me and just looking for casual 80s-style stirrup pants to wear as street clothes (hard to find, for some reason!), these are not it. Plus the “stirrup” is actually part of the fabric of the pant (as shown in the pics). So the hem of the pant actually lays bulkily on top of the foot, rather than stopping at the ankle or at the arch of the foot. (Could’ve been exacerbated by being too long for me, but it does appear that’s how they’re designed.) Overall, if you're tall and looking for a quality exercise pant, these would be great. But I was going for casual stirrup pants, and since I can’t seem to find them, I hoped these would be a fair substitute. I was disappointed. Sending back.

Really great and comfy for exercise
Really great and comfy for exercise, dance, or just regular everyday wear. My only thing is that it runs super large. Like I normally wear size L in Capezio leotards and saw that this ran large so I got a medium, but even that tends to bunch up around my ankles and knees. Definitely don't expect this to keep you warm or suck you in at the waist, either. But otherwise very cute and now my favorite leggings!

Lyra and Daily Wear!
I actually bought them for aerial silks and for lyra (aerial hoop). It isn't the best for silks since the material is so smooth and slick but it was great for lyra as they made it easy to slide around on the hoop. Since I am not able to do lyra for a while I have been wearing them out as alternatives to my cotton leggings and they look great since they are made with thick material.

Size down.
These are my holy grail leggings. I avoid cotton because of the tendency to pill but sometimes that can have the unfortunate effect of shiny leggings. These are a bit shiny but not offensively so, ultra opaque, and super comfy. The stirrup is a nice touch, surprisingly hard to find. They do run a size large so I would order down. I've already bought a second pair and will continue to purchase these.

Too long!
The leggings run big and very long. Also, the fabric is shiny and feels very slippery.
