great looking light, high quality look and feel!

I really wish that Amazon still allowed for customer submitted images, because the image for this one doesnt do it justice and it also makes it hard to tell how the thing works. This light has a really nice look to it. The bar, base, and light receptacles are a brushed nickel look, an then it has chrome highlights in the rings aroung the light receptacles, the bolts that hold the base to the cieling and the hardware that holds the light receptacles to the bar. The are also little chrome rings that you snap on to the face of the light bulbs once you have put them in, they are optional but i think it looks best with them in. It has a very modern minimalistic look to it, but its really high quality, and feels very sturdy. One thing i couldnt quite figure out is how/if the arms adjust, and what the connector between the main bar and the arms is. They are fully adjustable and can be swung all aroung in either direction, they can be kept symetrical; or in random directions. The connection it basically like the way a door hinge works, but if the door and that wall just had one hingh each, and the pin is fixed in place, you can loosen or tighten the swint with a provided allen wrench, then once you are mounting the arms have their own support feet that you attach to the cieling with provided drywall anchors. One point that is in the description is that the lights themselves are adjustable, to clarify: basically each light is on a ball and joint connector and can swivel, turn, and angle in any direction including straight down, this worked perfectly for my kitchen where i pointed 2 straight down at the island, 2 at the stove, one at the sink, and one at a prep counter space. Just keep in mind that halogen type lights are really more directional spot lights than whole flooding lights, so you will want to point them at key areas rather than just a light to fill an area with light. I highly recommend this light to anyone who needs a good looking light source, it really spruced up the look of my kitchen, and i will probably be buying another for my mud/laundry room soon.

Major key alert ????

The instructions are poor but if you are slightly handy it's easy. Depending on the depth of your electrical box in the ceiling, you will have to. Mess with the nuts and caps to make it tight. This could have been designed better. That's the only reason I am going 4 stars. Other than that it's a great fixture and we are buying second one. You can't beat the led bulbs and dimmer setup.

Fantastic value, easy install

Looked so good, we bought 2 and run them parallel to each other about 2 feet apart . They do an awesome job of lighting up our large kitchen more than adequately. I bought some Dimmable LED Halogen equivalent bulbs (3.5 watt light = same as 50watt Halogen ) Love them, look stylish and with the dimmer switch, it really sets the place up not to mention at the fraction of cost by using the LED Bulbs (Spots)

Great style and easy to install

First time working with lights on this project. These lights were very easy to install and came with all the necessary hardware. If you use a standard circle ceiling light box be sure your hole in the ceiling is tight to the box, the rectangular ceiling plate on this is just large enough to cover that style light box. I used the LED light bulbs on this as well. Overall provides a dramatic lighting effect with the projectors but still provides plenty of light where needed. I have this in our laundry room.

Great fixture at a reasonable price

This is a good looking fixture that was easy to install with the supplied hardware. Halogen triangle bulbs available very cheap here on Amazon, and a dimmer switch result in a light that goes from very bright white to warm amber accent lighting. Nicely adjustable spot lights are great for highlighting wall items up to 7’ away. Love it.

Superb Lighting

This light has gotten more raves than I could have imagined. We put this light in a walk in closet and replaced all the bulbs with LED's so it wouldn't get hot in a closet location. But this bar of lights is very flexible and the lights angle beautifully in just about any direction. If I had a need for a second one, I would not hesitate getting this exact light again.......but I would do the LED's again too. That's the only downside is to replace all the bulbs with more expensive ones.

It was a pretty quick job

I had my carpenter install this. It was a pretty quick job. I purchased it because I host house concerts and needed "stage lighting." This worked perfectly. The performers are able to adjust the lights to their liking. Photos and videos of the shows turn out quite nicely with these lights on my stage which is a 5 x 7 carpet tucked in a bay window.

Flexible design

Nice light that can be configured in a number of ways - we went for a straight line vs the s shape in the picture. Only bummer is that there are no bulbs included.

Amazing Light! Just Beautiful!

I love love love this light. It's beautiful, distinctive looking, easy to install, well-made materials at a great price and provides good reach to spread the light to where I need it. I've put in dimmable GU10 LEDs by Nitor. Works awesome with my Lutron smart dimmer switch. I can now control/dim the lights from my wall, by remote and by voice through my Google Home.

Certainly provides better lighting in my basement room

The track lighting was ordered for installation on my basement ceiling. Unfortunately it had to be installed on the wall due to uneven ceiling. Also I required LED lights which I knew about and they have now arrived. They will be installed this week and should provide better lighting where required. I do like the ability to adjust the direction of each light.

Great looks but flimsy, does the job, no bulbs so turns out expensive if you buy good led bulbs.
