Great quality!

I needed a low profile under cabinet outlet and this is exactly what I got. I love the engineering of the knockouts on all four sides to make room for the power line.

Great for places you cant run wire in a wall.

Used this product to run outlets across a wall that was solid. Couldn’t run the wire in the wall. It makes for a neat run and the white color complements most any other color in the background.

Important parts missing

I ordered these because they are a little bit cheaper than at my local stores. Now I see why... These are missing the four mounting screws that are included with the versions found at my local stores. You will have to go to your local stores and buy the screws. They are #6x1-inch pan head sheet-metal screws. I am returning these out of principle and buying some locally. Aha, found a set at L*** that were a tad bit more expensive but were better quality. Also, the ones I bought locally are true white whereas these LeGrand brands are off white. The knockouts also fit the raceways I bought locally better.

Looks great and hides a bad wiring job and a nasty hole!

Fairly easy to install. Follow the directions and installation looks like a pro did it. Works great and looks awesome.

Easy, inexpensive way to add an outlet

I had two refrigerators plugged to the same electrical circuit, which is not recommended because of the amount of power they can draw during start up could trip the breaker. So, I ran 14/3 wire, used two separate breakers and installed two of these surface mount outlets, one for each refrigerator. They mount well to the concrete walls and fix nicely behind the refrigerators. They're an inexpensive way to add an outlet most anywhere without the hassle of cutting holes on the walls and are easy to install. I recommend it.

Not compatible with Cordmate II (C210) but...

Where there's a will, there's a way. I traced the Cordmate II channel on the side, used a rotary tool to cut it out, then (mostly) smoothed the edges with a small file. Good enough for my purposes. I'm installing a blank faceplate on this and using it to cover a hole in the wall where there's a cable pass through.

Needs a shallow electrical outlet

Mostly everything about this item is great. However, it needs to have a shallow outlet. The ones that come with it are the regular outlet that is too deep. I had to modify the backplate and route the wires around the outlet to get it to work. A little more design needs to go into this item. However, with a little modification I was able it use it.
