A nice presentable travel shirt

I bought this in a small and a medium. I didn't feel like it made me look like every other tourist. Why do travel clothes all look like you are on an expedition? Let's make travel clothes that look nice and perform as well! I like the overall fit of the small best but it pulled a bit in the chest. I kept both sizes but would buy this again in medium. I am 5"4', 140 lbs for reference. I love the colors. I felt a little more presentable, as it were, in this shirt while traveling. It has a nice collar that looks nice with a cardigan if it cools down. I didn't feel the arm holes were too big and it covers your shoulders with a wide 'sleeve' so you don't have to worry about bra straps showing. I traveled in 90 degree weather and never felt like it clinged. I washed it in the hotel sink when needed and it dried quickly with no need to iron or fuss with it. I did take the logo off the front. I don't like to advertise brands and I feel it cheapens the look of the shirt. The vent in the back has a reflective tab with lettering. I would prefer a blank one but it isn't horrible. There is a short sleeve version but I don't feel it looks as nice/fitted. This one is a keeper.

Finally, Columbia that fits true to size

Upon delivery, I ripped open my package containing my Columbia Women's Standard Sleeveless Tamiami shirt and Columbia Women's Backcast Short. Finally!!! I found Columbia top (and shorts) that fits comfortably. I'm excited to get out fishing on the water wearing my new threads, with comfort and style! For reference; I ordered XL Backcast shorts and XL Tamiami Sleeveless-both fit very nicely and true to size. I am 5'5" 200lb 40D, wear XL and 16 in most labels. I will be ordering more of both. UPDATE: having worn this tank a few times now, I still love the light-weight breezy breathable fabric. I can confirm other reveiwers who voiced concerns about the snap buttons...although I do like the ease of these snap buttons, I can validate the ease of them also popping open if the shirt is tugged, pulled on or caught. In my case, my busty top area was fitted, not tight. But I had found that with twisting and turning with a fitted bust area, those buttons had more ease of popping open. I love this shirt but did end up returning it for a size up. I would recommend the same, to size up for larger busted gals.

Did not receive the color as pictured

I was sent the Tropic Water color not the Clear Water color as pictured. The one I received was definitely more Turquoise in color than the Clear Water I ordered. I gave it one less star for the color not being correct. I will keep it as I like the style of shirt. I had purchased this style in Key West at Pilar Rum with their logo embroidered on it and wanted another top in same style. Was looking for the lighter Clear Water color. I was dissapointed to receive the darker Turquoise color of Tropic Water. It is a nice blue but not what I had wanted. Otherwise, I love this top and the fit.

Great for hot humid weather

I have several of these shirts now because they are a staple for the hot/humid summer weather. The shirt is very lightweight but not see thru. Looks nice too and stays looking nice even when it's sweltering outside. They really aren't delicate either. I've washed them in the washer multiple times and they look like new. They air dry very quickly too. Edit - Tiki pink is actually a neon cantaloupe color and no where near pink. The color is ok in the cotton shirts but even more unpleasant in the tamiami. Which means it's highly likely you'll get a returned product which may not be very well processed. The one I received had no tags attached and smelled like a bordello. Other colors are ok but since this one is so far off its often on sale among all Columbia's shirts.

Not the best fit

The material good, and the snaps are a great idea. The fit is very large around the torso area, but the arm holes are a nice fit. I usually wear a medium but ordered the large based on the sizing recommended. There are big spaces between the snaps so there are gaps throughout the placket. Safety pins are needed to resolve that. It's a bit 'sloppy'. I ordered a 2nd one in a different colour, but medium size. It was totally too small. I'm either an in-between size now or Columbia's sizing has really changed over the years. I have 2 other Columbia shirts from years past, medium size, wonderful fits/cuts. I was expecting the same quality but was disappointed.

Snap closures.

I wasn't fond of the plastic snap closures. The material was light and the shirt appeared well made. It fit tightly. I have found Columbia clothing inconsistent with sizing. My normal size was too small for this shirt.

Great fit

This is a great shirt and finally something that fits my Tall frame (6'1" ). Now if Columbia would only make a long sleeve shirt for us gals with long arms and torso's. I bought a Large and now have 5 of them.
