So So Fit Fabric Looks Nice

The arms are on the small side, my arms are about 15" right now, which is smallish for me, so I expected a better fit. The neck is actually very comfortable, the chest is a little tight, belly is nice. The color looks really good, I have not washed them yet. It is not perfect, but it is good value. I bought CT shirts which were pricey and they are substantially the same cloth and fit , but this shirt comes with a pocket. So yes, I would buy again at low $20s it is very good value. I am buying the larger size though.

Stand Out Sartorially!

I LOVE this dress shirt. The Van Heusen brand comes in so many sizes that it’s very easy to get a shirt that fits properly off the rack in all aspects: collar, body, and sleeve. The collar and sleeves themselves hold a good shape and when ironed are very stiff and sharp, and what’s great about this shirt in specific is that it’s striped! Most men opt for a solid colored dress shirt or go with plaid for a more casual look, but I love the vertical pin striping on this shirt because from far away, it looks almost golden. The detail only really shows when you’re up close, which in terms of men’s style is an excellent feature. I’m definitely going to get the blue variations as well, but this one is a great pick for men who already have a solid white and solid light blue shirt.

The color is much darker than the photo.

The actual color is much darker purple than the photo. You will be noticed in the crowd.

Excellent quality and perfect fit

Today it’s hard to find a dress shirt, button down with neck and sleeve length that my husband has worn for years. So many gauge the sizes from small to xl and bigger. Many times the Xl is 17-17 1/2…this is too big, especially if I order tall, but the 16-16 1/2 is too small. This shirt is beautiful, quality is excellent and perfect fit.

Back could use another half inch in width at back and narrower shoulders.

This seems like the classic Van Heusen shirt they've been making for ages. My chest is about 43", and I wish the back were about 1/2" wider. Meanwhile, the shoulders are too wide. OTOH, this would be right for someone with more ideal proportions.

Good dress shirt

I'm 6ft, 215 lb and the shirt fits me like a glove. Washed and dried without shrinkage. All of the buttons, good stitches, firm colors. The only thing that is worth mentioning is that one of the shirt was not new, it was obviously used, with the collar dirty. Luckily after washing it the grime was gone. 1,80 mt, 95 kg, la camisa me queda queda muy bien. Lavado y secado sin que encoja. Todos los botones, buena costura, colores firmes. Lo único que vale la pena mencionar es que una no era nueva, estaba obviamente usada, con el cuello sucio. Por suerte, después de lavarla la mugre desapareció.

Ordered 16 neck and it is at least a 16 1/2 and maybe more.

I ordered a size 16 neck, and it said 16 on the shirt when it arrived. I have at least 20 shirts with size 16 necks in my closet. This shirt is clearly a 16 1/2 or possibly more. Very loose around the neck and my tie looks awkward since it cannot fit properly. It is somewhat loose in the chest and waste, but I like my shirts to be slightly loose rather than tight or even slightly tight n those places. The shirt, other than the neck looks good, from the front, but the back of the shirt with no pleat gives the the shirt a cheap look, compared to the front. In defense of the shirt, I guess it is is a case of you get what you pay for. The price is somewhat low.

Nice enough shirt for the price

What I liked: The sleeves are longer than your usual shirt, which is good. What I didn't like. Sewing short cuts like the side seams and sleeves do not have 'felled seams' and there are no darts or pleats in the back. Still, a good fit.
