Worth considering
I had three Bontrager tubes fail at the junction of the valve stem and tube. Had to try something different and hopefully better. To date these Goodyear tubes have given me hope that I have found a tube worth buying and using. No failures. Rating would have been higher if I'd have owned them longer. Thought consumers should really consider these as an option.

good value, self-sealing
I like that these have a self-sealing "goo" inside them (similar to the green goo sold under another brand name), to help prevent flats from small thorns. What these don't have is thicker rubber on the "tread" side, like a thorn-resistant tube has. The drawback to the thicker rubber is that it makes the tube heavier, and it costs more. This is a good compromise, it does not cost as much as the thicker tubes, and weighs less, but isn't quite as thorn-resistant as the combination of thicker rubber and goo.

A little background knowledge
There is validity to the other reviews stating that it won’t take in air because that was the cause when I got mine. Luckily my dad, he used to assemble bikes When he was younger, figured out that there was residual in the valve of the tube itself that was blocking it from taking any air. He used tweezers to take out the pin and cleared out the valve. Sure enough after putting back the pin, the tube took in air. Just to be extra sure he put the valve in a pot of water and squeezed the tube to check for any holes. Had it been just me I would’ve just bought another tube. In case you run into a similar issue, try what my dad did and perhaps it’ll work. Hopefully it’ll save from buying another tube. Ps. The tube had a schrader valve, not sure if it’s doable with a presto. Update: After about a month of use I ended up having to replace it. Even though the tube was taking in air, it leaked air to the point where I had to pump it every day or two before a ride and sometimes again during my longer trips. There is definitely a quality control issue with extra debris in the valve itself. Just do yourself a favor, support your local bike shop and have them install it. It was just 15$ for me

Great tube so far.
Easy installation with standard valve. I Think it is better for heavier guys like me as long as you don't inflate to the highest psi level on the tube. I prefere about the middle psi. If it says inflate to 60 - 80 psi, I will inflate to 70 psi.

50% worked ok...
Product arrived on time, but one of the two leaks out of the box.I installed in the brand new tire I also purchased here on amazon and it leaked. What else can you say.... i read the previous reviews and saw that others had a similar problem,I took a chance and lost..so now i am buying slime to stop the leak... Ok after some serious troubleshooting the valve cores were leaking, a little silicone lube and they worked great, venders can only check so much so I came back to make good on a previous rating of 2 stars. Yes it took some work ,and maybe 5 stars is too much, because I did have to mess with them to stop the leaks, but as we know anything mechanical has it's quirks. So time to be fair....no harm,no foul...just let Quality Control know what I found at the factory. ????

I made it work
I bought this because of the Goodyear name anyone over 50 remembers their blimps and tires. I installed it which was challenging but I couldn’t get air into it. There was a piece of some type of debris that was blocking the valve stem. I removed it with small needle nose pliers reinstalled it and I have had no other problems. It did waste a lot of my time for something a rudimentary quality control check should have found. That said I probably would buy it again.

Good product, but .......
I have already installed the tube which in itself is easy, but I realized while working on the bike that I need a new front tire and tube also. I was going to order the exact same but the price had nearly doubled, had to settle for another brand.

Careful! The images/selections are all incorrect
I selected two 26" X 1.75/2.25 tubes and clicked add to order and proceeded as usual. I did not notice the image did not reflect my choice at the time. The package arrived in the expected 2-days which was great, however i received two 700c tubes! I check the website again and indeed, all of the rollover/selection boxes with the different size options are messed up. Very frustrating that i now have to return for refund and re-order the correct tubes by clicking on the incorrect selection box...

Does not hold air
Replaced the tube in my daughter’s bike. I went to inflate and it would not hold air. The value was leaking badly. I removed the value to check it and its completely corroded and full of gunk. The valve I removed is on the right and the one to the left is the old tube that had a puncture. Fortunately the old valve was still good, so I do not have to return. Buyer beware.

The valve is defective and you cannot inflate it...
I was tempted by the self-sealing feature. However, out of the two I purchased, at least one is defective... I tried to install it, luckily at home when I changed the tires, and I could not put any air in... I believe the valve is defective. I hope the 2nd one is good... I did not try it as then I cannot pack it back small enough to fit in the service back... I just hope if I have a flat it will work... It is 0 stars but I gave 2 for the benefit of the doubt, as I did not check the 2nd one... I should have put 0 if based only on this defective one...

3 times 0 success
I've tried 3 tubes now and none of them hold the pressure. The first blew by the valve which I sent back for replacement while the second one did not hold the pressure over night and now won't even inflat. It sounds like it blew out near the valve as well. My initial replacement doesn't hold the pressure for more than an hour. Very disappointing ????.
