The larger size does not have grips on the bottom.
I wish it was more obvious in the posting. Or there were two separate posts for the two different sizes since they r not the same. I bought them mainly for the grips and I received them and no grips.

Very Best
These socks are the very best. I use them for my 17 month old. They can be folded down or pulled up for two different looks. This allows them to be casual or formal. They have just the right amount of stretch to be comfortable but also stay on. They hold up well during washes (only one sock of the six pairs I own has had a loose thread but it didn’t impact the integrity of the sock). I can’t recommend these enough.

Practically the only socks we have found that fit and stay on. Great socks!
My grandson who is 5 and a half months old has finally outgrown his new born socks. My daughter had I don't know how many pairs of socks with fancy stripes, etc. in newborn size and they were all super cute, but the problem was none of them except for a pair or two would ever stay on his feet. I took it upon myself to place a couple of orders of the 3-12 month size here and I'm happy to report that they actually stay on his feet! They wash beautifully (she safety pins them together at the toes before washing so they don't get separated...) and Jefferies are the only socks he wears now since they are the only socks that actually stay on his feet. Tip: For little pants that are a bit too short but fit everywhere else, she leaves them up like knee socks and that works great too and they stay in place without sliding down. It looks fine and makes it less noticeable that the pants are a bit too short, plus keep that part of his little legs warm. These are great socks at a reasonable price, and I highly recommend them. When the time comes that he outgrows them we will definitely be ordering the next size up! Note: The 6 pairs of 3 to 12 months size I ordered all have little gripper dots on the bottoms.

Great socks, but I would size up
I purchased the 3-12 month size for my daughter when she was a few weeks old. I read I should size up and am glad I did because they fit perfectly. I think 1-3 months would have been too small. They are the only socks that don't fall off when I remove her pants for diaper changes. However, when she hit 15 weeks she was able to pull them off, but that's pretty inevitable. We've tried lots of socks and these are the only ones that stay on. I also like the little grippers on the bottom of the 3-12 month size. Nice for when she's jumping in her jumperoo on the hardwood floor, so it provides traction. Some people whined about why would you need little grippers if you're not walking- this is why. However, about six months she outgrew the 3-12 month size. That being said, she's a little chunker at 19 pounds and her feet look like muffins. I went and purchased these socks in the 12-24 month size and that's what she's in now... they're a little big. My complaint with the 12-24 month size is they DON'T have the grippers on the bottom. I don't know why not, since a baby is mobile and walking after 12 months and usually not before.

Love these socks.
I love these socks so much that I'm going to buy tons more Jefferies Socks in the coming months. They are more narrow and the foot is longer than with other socks so that they fit snug and don't slip off baby's heels. The cuff is long enough to fold over, is nice and stretchy so it doesn't leave indentations in baby's ankles. The 3-6 month size is just perfect right now when dd wears 3-6 month in all her other clothes. I have found this isn't the case with many socks! The color is nice, and I like that the size is kind of painted onto the soles as "non-skid" so when you're sorting through hand-me-downs for the next baby, or if you donate/sell them when you're done, the next person can tell what size they are.

These are the cutest socks, and they stay on! The photo doesn't do them justice. They look a little blue and dingy in the picture, but I trusted the reviews and I'm glad I did. They are a nice soft bright white in reality. I have a feeling we are going to buy a lot of these socks in the future. And while you're buying socks, buy a mesh laundry bag so your washer/dryer doesn't eat all of them!

Best non-skid, stay-on socks - just wish they offered bigger sizes !
Aside from Old Navy baby socks, these are the best baby socks on the market in my opinion - because it is hard to find ones with non-skid bottoms, that also actually stay on the foot. Most baby socks just slip right off and are useless ! These and the Old Navy ones are the only frustration free ones for me. The only reason I am not giving it the full 5 starts is because it does not come in toddler and older sizes.

These socks are great. My little one is in the "let's take our socks off" phase and these stay on longer than his other socks. They also have grips on the bottom for when he starts walking, which will be handy. I recommend them.
