Cute costume, missing piece

This costume I bought as a base for an overall look, but it fits pretty well, the bust area isnt fitted so maybe some safety pins and clothing tape to get it where you need it. Also the shoulder straps are adjustable in the back with some velcro strips-it comes this way. Only complaint is that it is missing one of the little medallion pieces that can go where the cape connects.

Super cute and not expensive at all! Exceeded my expectations by far

Soooo this was an inexpensive costume and I wasn’t expecting much. I bought it for a Halloween race. It ended up being so cute. I ran a 10k in it and it was super windy out and everything stayed put. It was a little big but the lace parts let you tighten it up to your preference. Pleasantly surprised!

Great Costume

I was pleasantly surprised by this costume- I needed it for my daughter who wanted to be Lady Sif for a costume party. She is only 11 and about 4' 8" tall and 80 lbs, so I really wanted the extra small - but it was more than double the price so I bought the small instead. And Im so glad I did because I think the costume runs a little on the smaller side, which worked completely in my favor. She doesnt like very tight clothing so it is a little loose on her but not overly big where it looks ridiculous. She is wearing a black shirt underneath so there is room for that, and I just need to pin the straps in the back since they are little long for her size. Easy fix. Its costume material, nothing high end but that is what I expected. The boot covers are a little silly but overall the costume is exactly what we were looking for and she is excited to wear it.

do not try to wash it

it was cute at first but some of the things like the cape or the corset didn’t hold in place and would unstick or untie. as soon as i washed it (in a lingerie bag because it seemed very light) it literally just came undone. all the fabric fell apart in strings and it was unusable. i don’t recommend this costume at all.

Try on ahead of time

Once I got it all on with the cape, I liked it very much. I had to safety pin the front closed a little more, because as most costumes, it is made for a much more busty girl lol!. Had I had more time, I might have tried ordering a size smaller, but the safety pin worked fine. I would try on ahead of time, the strings you have to weave through and tie take a few minutes. I was glad I did that the day before, because the night of my party, by the time I got off work, showered and ready to put it on, I was pressed for time. But was able to pull it all on quickly. Had it been the first time I tried it on, I would have been a bit frantic getting it all figured out. I ordered a small, I’m 5’4” 125 lbs, bra size 32 C. With the safety pin in front it fit nicely.

Chest area small, little itchy and smells weird

Overall, it’s pretty great. The hips have a lot more space than I was expecting and the chest area was too small. Because the chest isn’t a tight fit, the costume still fits though so it’s fine for my purposes, just doesn’t fit how it should. Basically the fabric under the chest hovers instead of fitting tightly. It’s a little itchy because the cape attaches with velcro, but I think I can just put some black felt on it so it doesn’t irritate me. I’m not sure if the boot laces will stay up, I just kind of tightened them to try it on and they fell down. I probably won’t wear them though. It also doesn’t come with the shield or sword, and I’m not sure I realized that when ordering, but that’s fine. It also smells horribly like dead fish lol. Probably just needs to air out, so I’m glad I got it early.
