Very popely

I wore it to officiate a wedding. I was very happy with it and everyone got a good laugh. Be warned, it is very warm… it doesn’t breathe at all. I had to step outside into 30 degree weather to cool down a few times and stayed out there for 10 min or so. And I was wearing it Scottish style if you know what I mean…

Great costume

We got this for my teenage son so we could all dress up for the renaissance festival. He got the most compliments and people were pointing and talking about how amazing it was. He even got some bows and was addressed as his holiness. He was having a blast blessing people ????

Pope Costume

Purchased for my son, 14. It is well made. Size small fit him perfectly. It comes with robe and cloak that fasten in the back, and the hat with elastic on back for the perfect fit. Super simple to put on and take off. Staff not included. I had to purchase separately.

Costume did not come with the staff.

I liked the costume and it worked well for me but it did not come with the staff seen in the pictures. Luckily I was able to purchase said staff separately.

Perfect for our wedding.

I got married yesterday! Costume was perfect. It was for my now brother-in-law, who is about my height but substantially thinner. I opted for the XL version since I wanted to skew towards it being a little more billowy than a little tight. It fit just fine over a short sleeved shirt and a pair of shorts. He was nice enough to get ordained to perform the ceremony for us. It was a very small, casual ceremony with only about a dozen people and not a lot of pomp and circumstance. But I felt like him wearing shorts and a short sleeved button up shirt like I was just wasn't appropriate and that he could dress up a little more. So I ordered him this costume, which he did wear. For the whole ceremony. It was hilarious. I highly recommend it.

This costume is more than just a costume, it is a vessel that will take you on your most inspiring adventure ever. When I first saw my brother don these robes I was also witnessing our dreams transform to reality! I have never believed more in God or humanity that we can create such wonder and beauty from simple threads, beyond words. My brother and I have grand plans for this product; we will parade the neighborhood in costume burning sage and blessing the people, God's people.

A hit with other party-goers

I got a lot of positive reactions with this costume. The Velcro to hold the collars in place doesn't work, so you'll need someone to help you and two safety pins, one for the white layer, and one for the red layer. Take it out the day before and iron it - be careful, I'm guessing it would need low heat (mine was very wrinkled because I didn't know to do this). And get a "Ring Pop". And be prepared with witty comebacks for all the crazy stuff people will say and do.

Ok, but could be better

Overall it's ok. The fit isn't bad, a bit large for my frame. I'm a short guy (5'6") but am broad shouldered and barrel chested. The two biggest gripes I have are that the staff that is showed in the picture is NOT included and must be purchased separately. If it doesn't come with the costume, then don't show it in the picture! The final issue is that the velcro closures on the white robe and the red cape are lousy and couldn't hold the costume closed. I had to use safety pins to keep the costume on.

Made me a celebrity for a night.

I went to a Halloween party where there were around 150 people. Still, my costume was the sensation of the night. I got free drinks, people requesting pictures, a lot of jokes and a lot of fun. I had never had a costume that would have that impact. Extremely happy with the purchase. IMPORTANT NOTE: The pole with the cross is not included in the costume. That was a bit disappointing but it didn't prevent me from having a great night.

Bought this for a dinner party, it’s really high quality for a fancy dress outfit. Not the usual type that’s closer in texture to a kids party table cloth. Just need a few extra bits to complete the look, any know if Uber do Popemobiles now?
