Quality Costume

This price seems a little much when you look at all of the dog costumes on Amazon but the quality is high for what you pay. I bought a size medium for my King Charles Cavalier Spaniel. He has an extremely athletic build for a Cavalier and is about 14 lbs. The length of the costume fit his back and tail perfectly. The costume is very very soft and has a lot of padding in it to hold its shape. You can see the padding thickness in one of the pictures. The dinosaur tail holds its position because it also has a lot of padding. One of the cons with this costume on my dog is that the hat/hood was way to big for his head. I bet it would fit better on a Frenchie or Staffie, a breed with a fuller face. Another thing that I appreciated was that they covered all of the velcro straps with fabric so that it doesn’t snag anywhere on the costume. I did end up returning the costume and here is why… When my dog was in full costume walking around the house it really freaked out my two year old. The stuffing changed his body shape by adding on the appearance of a lot of weight and he would waddle. When he would wear the head/hood it covered most of his face so she could only see the fake eyes. As adults we can appreciate how cute our dogs look in costumes but to my two year old it was a new creature walking around our house. We tried showing her it’s still our dog several times but as soon as the head went on he was a real dinosaur in her eyes. I am returning this costume to get a more toddler friendly pumpkin costume. Overall, I recommend this costume if you think it won’t scare your kids.

Happy with my purchase❤️So cute????

I so love this costume on my yorkie he looks so adorable in it when i tried it on him. Overall the costume is soft and very lightweight it really makes my little furbaby look like an actual dinosaur I’m happy I purchased this item I guess I’ll be dressing up as a cave woman for Halloween to match my little pup . If your thinking about purchasing please do I promise you won’t be disappointed I totally recommend this product. My baby is about 6 lbs. so I bought the x-small and it fits perfectly…..he wouldn’t allow me to get a good pic but he’s so cute

Fits perfectly! He loves it and looks adorable.

The fit is perfect and true to the given size chart. My pup is a 50 pound German shepherd for comparison and this is a size large.

Great little costume!

This costume was adorable and was a huge hit at my son's dinosaur party. It is very well made and is great quality. I bought it for my Mini Australian Shepherd and took all the recommended measurements before selecting a size and ordering. The medium size (according to the chart) looked like it might be slightly large for him but it fit almost perfect except for the legs. The fabric was tight around the top of the legs (where they were connected to the costume). It took me a while to figure out why he wouldn't walk but as soon as I cut slits in the top of the leg slots to expand the top, he was able to move around more comfortably (although they were still a little tight). The head piece would not stay on. He didn't paw at it or try to get it off, it would just keep sliding down no matter how tightly we secured it. However, this may have been user error since they recommended cutting ear slots for dogs with larger ears but I didn't want his ears hanging out. Had we done that, it probably would have stayed in place. Overall I would recommend this costume and I would definitely buy it again!

Funny and comfortable!

Good product, little short for the length.

I love the product, it’s absolutely hilarious on my dog. She is 55lbs American Dingo and we got a Large costume, the length of the costume was a little short. Wish they had an XL but I’m just going to add a second Velcro strap underneath the stomach to secure the back is in place. We entered her legs on the front pieces but it was short on the back and so we let the legs hang. My dog has a longer neck and so we were happy that the head pieces are separated from the body. Absolutely love this product, but just had to make minor adjustments.

Doesn't fit a lab, low quality

I have a pretty standard sized lab. While I managed to get this costume on her, it was very uncomfortable for her and the straps wouldn't fit. It's not at all stretchy and didn't give much for range of motion. I ended up tearing up seams and adding elastics to make it more comfortable so she could run around and have fun in it with full range of motion. It is MUCH more fun to watch her in it when she's also having fun!! I'm not a seamstress by any means, but thankfully I could at least modify it to make it work. The craftmanship was pretty low quality. There were uncut threads, unfinished seams, loose seams, and it was easier than it should have been to rip it apart for mods.

Good quality - sizing matters

It's a good quality costume. I have a brittany spaniel and medium is a bit too small because she's too long. This style needs to fit fairly well or the dog can't walk. I think the sizing is accurate though - she's just lanky. Because its hilarious and well made, we aren't returning. Instead sending to friends with a slightly smaller dog. I'd order from this seller again for sure.

Hood doesn’t really fit but it’s cute

Everyone though my dog was supposed to be a dragon (usually Toothless from the movie), but other than that it was good. It also helped keep him warm since it was quite chilly out. The hood didn’t fit well though. It just kept falling off.
