It's really cute but was missing railing parts.
I bought this for our six year old granddaughter and it is really cute BUT 3 pieces of the railing were missing. Easy to assemble. The missing railing did not impact the integrity of the house- it was just for aesthetics not function. Our granddaughter absolutely loves it so we didn't return it. Instead, we agreed to a $15 credit issued by Amazon. The lights work and the accessories are really cute and VERY tiny. I advise caution if you have babies crawling- pieces are definitely a choking hazard for very young children or could easily get sucked-up the vacuum :-) Overall, we are pleased with our purchase- our older granddaughters play with it too!

Pretty but finicky
The house is lovely and well made, and a great set for the price. However, it is annoying that the pieces just sit on top of each other, making it difficult to move or play with for younger kids. The removable floors are kind of frustrating too. I wish some pieces were permanently in place and that the rest would “click together.” I don’t regret getting this house for my daughter but I’m hoping she’ll get more play out of it when she’s older.

Over priced
This is my second Calico Critter house. With each purchase I asked myself why I was paying so much for a so-so product and remembered it was for my daughter to use with her zillion calico critters and accessories. For the price it is quite small. The feature of lights that work is pretty cool but infrequently used. You can adjust the format of the house which means pieces don't click in place well. My kiddos are constantly knocking over a second story. From a child's perspective this is a fun house perfectly sized for their critters. I tried substituting their house with a larger Fisher Price doll house that could accommodate so much more but they were not on board. In conclusion, if your kiddo loves calico critters and you want to wow them at Christmas or their birthday then invest in the house. If they have a slight interest or just a few critters save your money.

Great but Missing parts
My daughter loved this but it was missing lights that were supposed to come with it, so for the cost of it that’s a little disappointing. It’s otherwise a great toy set.

Super Cute
This doll house was easy to assemble, it's sturdy, and super cute!! The lights are such a nice touch. And the detailing is really nice. I think it was worth the money I paid. The only problem I have is that (3) of the (small) railing pieces were missing when I unpacked everything. It would be really great if the Calico Critter people would send them to me! I'm not going to send back the whole house for the small pieces and yet I paid for everything to be in the box. So if anyone is reading this who's in charge of customer service, you could make one customer very happy by sending those three little pieces that I paid for. I really love my little house, so thank you!

Great house
A little bulky in size but great house to add any Calico critters expansion to. This purchase did not come with any furniture.

Fun Design, Imaginative Play, disapointed with lighting
Got to add to the little cottage. Seems of decent quality, like varying options when it comes to how to arrange the house, Is for Christmas gift so hasn't been put to test by child yet, but I expect it to hold up well. One thing I was especially enchanted by with this model, was the built in lighting. Particularly how the home appears in the product images, all lit up from the inside with warm yellow light. When deciding whether or not to spend this much on the additional house, that image really swayed me. I thought it looked as if it could almost be act as a soft nightlight, have the house lit up on a shelf at bedtime. The lighting turns out to be very much a disapointment based on my expectations. Lights are not very bright, even when in a dark room, and they are a "white" led light, nothing like the "warm white" light that appears in the image. If the image of the house all lit up is part of its allure, you may be disapointed. Plan on rigging up some diy lighting before giving for Christmas gift.

fantastic doll house
My 3yo daughter asked for this for Christmas and it was here for a great price. It has held up great and provided so much entertainment already. She enjoys that you can removed the upper of the one side and rearrange it as you like. It's like multiple dollhouses in one! She also has the little red roof cottage which added to the fun of making different looking set ups. We have Hape wooden doll house furniture as well and they are for the most part suitable in this house.

Super cute and fun to stack
Soo cute. Love all the molded details. Stacks well with Sweet Raspberry house and Red Roof cottage. Lots of ways to place. I removed the hinge to the house, so I can move parts around even more. The lights aren't very bright. I added fairylights instead.

Great design and quality.
My little one loves these critters and the house is a good size but it folds up, so it doesn’t take up a lot of space. Hours of entertainment!!
