I took a chance and bought this product online and I am happy with it, I am going to try and leave as much description as possible. -The construction of this product seems to be more durable than others I have purchased in the past (I have bought these things for the last 15+ years). -The batteries load into the bottom and are easily removed for storage (REMOVE your batteries, ladies!! You'll save so much money!!) -This egg has a rubber stop where the egg and cord meet, if the manufacturer has placed one on the inside as well, the wiring may hold up longer than your average egg. I don't know yet, when it breaks (there should never be a question of 'if', these things just don't last) and I have to 'Macgyver' it. -The Seven Speeds are: Constant Low- (this is the same as medium on the last one I owned) Constant Med- (this is the same as high on my last one) Constant High- (rattled my teeth! :) Escalation- this starts the various pulsation speeds, low to med to low at a low speed. Power Pulse- Goes from med to high to med at a med/fast speed Rapid Pulse- Craziness (High vibe pulsing at high speed) Shooting Climax- Wall Climber (Goes through all of the speeds in about a second?) - I don't trust the waterproof claim and won't be testing it that way. I use a disposable cloth cleanser. - This is a little difficult to hang on to, but its not coated and completely comparable to any other egg I have owned. Shipping was fast and arrived before expected and I would recommend this product to anyone. I will update this when necessary. ;) 5/6/13- It's time to buy a new one and I will be purchasing this same one! I can say that it does not drain batteries like most and I'm a happy girl.

Gentle enough for a first time user and powerful enough for an experienced user.
This was a great purchase. It is very quiet, though after the first few uses, it did seem to become louder when I hold it by the silver bullet (which is pretty much the only way to hold and control the vibrating egg). Even though it's quiet, the vibrations remain strong. The control device is easy to use and seems quite durable. The vibrations are spread evenly through the egg and the egg is a comfortable fit. The varying speeds are not only fun, but they get the job done (and do it well), no matter what mood you're in. I tried the vibrator both alone and with my boyfriend and we both had tons of fun with it. The cord is long enough to allow for movement and control without feeling like you are tied down to it. The battery compartment can be a little tricky to remove, but it stays on well. I don't have to worry about the batteries coming loose or falling out. The red light is a bit bright in a dark room, but that doesn't detract from the quality of this product. The package says that the egg is waterproof, but I don't want to take any chances with it. The cord is sealed with a piece of rubber where it goes into the bullet, but the cord can be forced into the bullet, so I'm guessing water may be able to leak into it as well, especially if the toy has had a lot of wear. Overall, I am very happy having purchased this product and would recommend it to anyone, whether you are looking for a gentle first time toy or are an experienced customer looking to purchase a quality product that will hold up and provide you with a great time.

AMAZING AT FIRST
I got this for my girlfriend for one of her xmas gifts. A little opposed to it at first, but as soon as we tried it out, she was all about it! It worked great in different areas of her body, and the different modes were really fun to play with. But when you turn it on full blast, look out, your not gonna be able to control yourself! This thing will rattle your teeth loose (in a good way of course!) OH NOOOO... Its been less than three months, and its not working anymore :( My girlfriend tries to use it sometimes, but in order to get it to work, she has to push the cable into the egg, which is not convenient at all, especially when you're trying to focus on other things.... wink.. Kind of a shame, she took pristine condition of it, as she does with most items, but it still broke, unfortunate for her, but she had a really nice three months on nights I couldn't go visit her! CONCLUSION: Durability was an issue reading the reviews, but once you see it you think it will last fine, well... my fellow reviewers were right, about three months and ka poof.. Play the odds if you like, this is definitely a GREAT vibrator, and extremely strong, and pleasurable, however the design is simply not made strong enough to support its own power!

Defective over 50% of the time
I've been buying this pretty religiously for almost a decade, having to replace about once a year (it's a $15 vibrator...it's not gonna last forever). I don't know what they did to change manufacturing about a year ago, but now I have to order and return about 4 of the item in order to get one that works properly. Everything looks fine until I put batteries into it, and then try and insert the battery cartridge back into the device. It won't stay in the device, and therefore the contacts don't touch to get power to the vibratior.. Sometimes it'll fit close enough to where, if I wanted to, I could hold it in place in order for it to turn on, but most of the time even holding it closed still won't work. When there are no batteries in it, it clicks in place no problem, but for some reason the last year, they just don't work 75% of the time. I literally ordered 2 last week, figuring one or both wouldn't work (one worked), and exchanged the second for the same item. Got the second one, this one also doesn't work, so I had to go through amazon support for a refund. Wish that this wasn't the case, because, especially for the price, it's a super solid little vibrator for the price, but based on getting so many consecutive defective ones I'll be looking for a new one.
