Attractive lamp but different from advertised picture

This is an attractive sturdy 3-way lamp. I had no problems with the 3-way mechanism and it was a plus that the shade was already assembled (some lamps you have to roll-out/assemble the shade). Although the outer shipping box was beat up, the inner boxes were fine and there was no damage to the lamp or lamp shade. It does look different than the advertised picture. There are more leaves than in the picture which is nice but because of that the main part of the lamp is wider than what the picture displays. It does not go beyond the width of the shade base but I prefer the slimmer look.

Decent lamp, wrapped in terrible packaging, damaged in transit

We bought two of these lamps for the living room. Each lamp looks like the picture on the website and perhaps even has a few more leaves. Both have a good weight to them and are not top-heavy or tippy. Each base came encased in a block of Styrofoam, which was sheathed in a cardboard box and hermetically sealed with tape. The shade was packed in a separate cardboard box. Both the base box and the shade box were placed in a larger cardboard box (roughly a two-foot cube) for shipping. From the six boxes (three for each lamp), the amount of material for landfilling or recycling was appalling. And the Styrofoam was brittle and crumbly, so it made a real mess. More sustainable, less bulky alternatives are available, and we wish that some paper-based cushioning had been used. It turns out that the Styrofoam did not work so well. One of the bases arrived so bent that we planned on returning it. To avoid that hassle, we tried straightening it. Fortunately, we were able to counter enough of the kink so that guests will notice the irregularity only if they look closely. We were just buying a couple of table lamps. The extra surprises were really more than we wanted.

A Substantial Lamp

Be sure to check the measurement of this lamp before buying, it is a larger lamp than I had anticipated based on the picture. It is a heavy-weight, high quality lamp that became something of a centerpiece in my guest bedroom, it is very attractive and eye catching in person. High quality lamp shade as well. I recommend this lamp for its quality and performance.

Lamp arrived a day early. Just as pictured. Only complaint is that it looked like the styrofoam melted on about 1 1/2 foot of the cord (the white showed on the dark cord) and it was very hard to get off. (3-way fluorescent light bulb was too big for this lamp.)

I love it but am now having trouble with it

Purchased this lamp February 2015. I love it but am now having trouble with it. It is constantly blowing the light bulb. What is my recourse. At the cost I would have expected many years of use.

Nice lamp

Nice lamp. Good weight to it, works well, looks nice. I would like the leaves and branches to have some more detail, but it is otherwise a nice piece.

3-way switch does not work. . . .

Quality lamp and shade and adequate packaging but I was hoping for a little more texture in the iron work. I wish the wrought iron had more character. Purchasing sight unseen I thought it wise to order one first before purchasing a pair. Because of the lack of interesting detail I won't be ordering the second lamp. update: I just downgraded to two stars because I just discovered the 3-way feature does not work. I do not recommend this lamp.
