German Shepherd loved it for 2 days & killed it in 45 seconds!!!
Our German Shepherd LOVED THIS TOY...until she killed it 2 days later. We diligently supervise our Shepherd during playtime. She took advantage of a rare head turn (in the same room) to murder this toy. In less than 45 seconds she irreparably damaged the side of it!! We turned our heads for a loud noise, while our "PROTECTOR"chewed it to a quick death!! She was so enthralled with it that she didn't bark at the loud noise! This has a flat side that allows it to slide across the floor. The opposite side has indentations that allow you (or the dog) to turn it back over for more fun. Despite the extra large size our dog was able to pick it up in it's entirety. We've had a lot of luck with a few of the Chuckit balls. Not so much with Chuckit toys. The concept is great but it's durabilty & design isnt for large dogs or aggressive chewers. I would highly recommend this toy for MEDIUM size dogs that aren't chewing machines. Large to extra large breeds should probably take a pass. If it would've lasted a couple months I would've rated it an awesome value.

Entertaining for my pit Bull
Love this! My pit bull is a monster and was kind of gnawing through it but it’s still sturdy enough for her to play with! 8/10

The only toy (from a very big set) that my Aussie likes to play with
a) it has not been killed by Aussie puppy from 4 to 11 months b) he likes to chase it and likes to bring it back to me c) he does not try to chew off pieces of it (that what he always does with other toys)

Does NOT stay flat on the floor
Great idea, sturdy and well made, but does not stay on the floor as advertised. Most of the time it does slide nicely across most surfaces and actually impressed with how well it slid on carpet. However... My 4 month old pitbull puppy who loves chasing sliding things, just clamped on to the top rubber and picked up this toy immediately upon being introduced to it. We tried to teach her to push it and play with it that way, but she just generally picks it up and carries it around. So, great idea, like the quality, but does not work for us as intended.

Kind of clunky but durable
For my aggressive chewing dog, this was a great selection. He loved it. But he would pick it up and carry it across the room, then drop it and nose it across the floor. He was relentless with it. It was large, clunking and not the right fit for us. I gave it to a friend. I prefer quiet games of fetch.

It will scratch your hard floors
Dog loves it. Best on carpet. I tried it outside and it just didn’t slide around good on the grass. If a little piece of something gets under it your floors will be scratched.

6mo old bully worn out after 10min. Only downside is it does go under furniture but so do plenty of other things. Great buy!

Well made, other than the squeeker
It has lasted about a month so far and our (small border terrier) likes playing with it, but he broke the squeeker within about 20 minutes. The rest of the toy is very well made and robust, but the squeekers are our dogs favourite part and disappointed this has not lasted on such an expensive and supposedly indestructible toy

Might as well have bought a dog chew
This lasted about 5 mins before my one year old lab have destroyed it. He wasn't interested in pushing it around, just chewing it and the plastic bottom is not durable. Maybe only suitable for small dogs. Or hamsters

Disappointed
This toy did not live up to its billing - it did not slide across a hard wood floor and my dog lost interest after a few minutes. It might work better on carpet.

They like it, but…
I bought this for my 2 labs. They love it as a toy but don’t use it as intended. There is very little sliding across the floor and chasing it around because their mouths are large enough to grab it and pick it up. BUT- it has the durability that I’ve come to expect from a Chuckit product. They love the rubber and chew it a lot. The hard side is not a deterrent when chewing and has stood up very well even against intentional chewing on that side. I’d recommend this toy for smaller dogs who wouldn’t be able to pick it up and would end up chasing it around but if you don’t care whether you use it as intended, this toy still has the potential to be a fan favourite as it is for my two dogs.

Not Exactly Made for Large Dogs
So, I bought this to keep my shepherds minds occupied chasing them. Turns out I should have looked at the photo on the package more closely. My large dogs, especially my male shepherd, can literally pick the toy up with his mouth and run with it. Hahahaha. I don’t think they’ll last long, but they are playing with them right now. 10 minutes. It took 10 minutes for them to chew the toy to pieces! Hahaha
