This is really tiny and could be a Xmas ornament

I typed in 1:24 size next to travel trailer models and up came this airstream. I received it and it reminds me of the Matchbox Hot Wheels series size. Tiny! Be mindful that Amazon does not filter out the size even if you type it in. While it looks to be a nice replica it is not the size I thought I was ordering for my husband's birthday present.

Looks Awesome, But Not Well Built

For the price, I think this could be much better. It looks really great. If you're using it for a diorama or shadowbox like I am, as long as no one touches it, it's great. But it feels very cheap to the touch. I don't understand why this can't be built better when I can buy a Hot Wheels die-cast car with great detail for half the price. That being said, I understand the production on HO Scale Models is smaller, costs are higher, and this does have some pretty cool detail to it. If it's what you need for your scene, then it's what you need.

The model is beautifully made and has a polished silver finish

To the people who complained that this model is small, and plastic, try reading the description. It clearly says It is an HO Scale model and that it is made of plastic. It is not a die-cast child's toy to be thrown around a play table with Matchbox cars. It is a display item meant to be included as scenery in a model train set. HO Scale is 1/87, so it is actually smaller than a Matchbox car scale, which is 1/64. The model is beautifully made and has a polished silver finish, as many classic Airstream owners restore their trailers to. It even has clear windows with what appears as fabric curtains inside. For a tiny model, it is very detailed and well executed.

Authentic Airstream

I ordered this for my sister for a Christmas gift as she has an Airstream trailer. It's very authentic & very detailed to look as they do in 'real size'. But it was very small. I had hoped it would have been a little larger to show up more on her tree. But overall was pleased with it.

I need to learn model ratios...

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my Airstream loving father. Not knowing model ratios/sizes, I assumed from the great detail in the picture and the price that it was going to be a fairly large model for his office shelf. I was irked, to say the least, when I found out it could be hauled by a matchbox truck. I wouldn't have paid what I did if I knew how small it is. But, it is very nicely made and detailed despite the fact that it's tiny. It made a nice box decoration for his other gift, and he got a good laugh out of my faux pas.

the scale is not HO it's much smaller like 1/86 or something like that

Great model!

This is a spitting image of the Airstream once owned by my late parents, so I had to have it for my HO layout. Looks great being towed by one of my many vehicles or just parked in the driveway of one of the houses.

Not What I Hoped For or Expected

This is a beautifully done ornament, but it is very small. Not sure what "scale" it is, but I was disappointed when I received it.

Detailed quality

This model is extremely detailed and very quality looking even has the airstream letters on it and the wheels are gorgeous it’s super shiny and reflective which makes it look amazing, make sure you know what 1:87 size is because the trailer is about equal to the size of a regular hot wheels car. It also comes with a clear plastic case u can choose to keep it in and a mount screwed into the bottom

LOVE It

The wife has always wanted an Airstream, so imagine her surprise when I fit one into her Christmas Stocking. She absolutely loved it. We will be putting it inside the actual Airstream we will be purchasing when we retire.
