Worth it, even for bigger kids
I have two boys ages 4 and 7. I am triathlon training and have had to come up with some creative ways to get my training in. When I realized I wanted a trailer for my bike, I marveled at the low-price ($100-200 range) options but ultimately went with the Honey Bee. I liked the stroller-conversion, the higher weight limit than competitors' models, and the Burley emphasis on safety. ASSEMBLY. I didn't have the awesome experience others did, mostly because so much of the trailer was already assembled (the instructions were written as if I'd have to do about 50% more than I actually had to do --- that was confusing, especially for someone who's never even been close to a bike trailer in real life). Burley, y'all should fix this (there were also some references to throwing away bolts/nuts that actually had to be reused...that was confusing, too). The pictures could be better, too. But the trailer is clearly very well designed and sturdy. Very impressive. It was easy to assemble once I figured out Burley had done most of the work already. SIZE/COMFORT. My boys are a combined 80 lbs, so the 100 lb weight limit was attractive. They were reasonably comfortable (it's good they're both on the smaller side), and my younger one in particular loved it! We rode for over an hour, almost 10 miles (for the record, my average speed was about 3mph slower hauling the trailer; I'm always aiming for a low heartrate on these rides). The younger one wanted to keep going. My older one is now hopefully inspired to learn to ride his bike. Their comment was that they felt like they were riding in a "racecar!" They liked the flag a lot, too. Oh, the older one had a hard time fitting in there with his helmet on. Younger one was OK. Burley is one of the few brands I saw that has a special "pocket" to allow space for kids' helmets. STORAGE CAPACITY. Amazing. I could put a few bags of groceries back there no problem (but I'd be coming right up on the weight limit if I had both kids with me). I was shocked by how big the storage compartment was. The kids enjoyed the mesh compartments in their cabin, too. Water bottles fit fine. I want to find a water bottle holder to clip to the handle bar for me to use while running, but I did OK. HANDLING. Wow, you'd never know you were hauling around 100 lbs of kid+trailer back there. I was really impressed. It was tough going up some hills, but I did it. We rode on a paved biking/walking trail, and at one point one tire fell off the edge (about a 6-12" drop) when I had to pass some walkers. I thought "this is the end!" at first, but then, hallelujah, the wheel popped back up onto the trail! I was relieved. I thought I'd have to stop and haul it back onto the trail myself, but it was fine, and there was no damage. STROLLER. I was worried that it wouldn't be a good jogging stroller, but it does great! My older child rode his scooter, and the other one rode in the stroller for a bit and scooted for a bit (the storage compartment had plenty of room to store any inactive scooters). I don't think I ever pushed them both in the same time, but it would have been fine. I'll be interested to see how the front (plastic) wheel holds up. The transition from Trailer to Stroller is unbelievably simple. Just pull on the wheel and rotate to the position you want. FOLDING. This thing collapses really well, but unfolding/setting it up takes some muscle: It was a lot harder for me to "snap together" the two rods at the top than the instructions let on. I had to really push on it, standing behind it and tilting it toward the ground for leverage. I suspect that will get easier. But anyway, I've taken the wheels on and off several times now because that's how it fits best in my car. Wheel removal couldn't be easier. SCREENS. The mesh screen and plastic cover are nice. I haven't quite figured out how to really secure those down (and the manual appears oddly silent on that issue), so I'll consult a video. They're Velcro-based closures, not zippers. We didn't use the plastic "windshield," but it stayed rolled up with no problem, and it's quite thick/sturdy. FLAG HOLDER. Another review says the flag holder is inadequate to do the job. Mine's flag holder is so sturdy, I couldn't figure out how to turn it around so the flag would face up with the handle bar in the "trailer" (as opposed to "stroller") position! So maybe they've tweaked that. (Eventually I did manage to coax the flag holder to spin to the other side.) You WILL need to put air in the tires before you use it. The tire pressure didn't even give a reading on my gauge when I tested it. But that's to be expected. Bottom line: I want to go back in time and take up cycling when the kids were 1 and 4! But I'm glad I got it, and I'm even glad I paid a premium for the "brand name." It was fun getting my brick (bike/run) workout in AND having fun with my kids at the same time, knowing that they could sit and ride if they got tired. And we had plenty of space for snacks and water and other essentials. I know I'll haul my 4-year-old around in it for a couple seasons, at least. And it'll be in great shape to re-home when they're big enough to ride alongside me.

A Stylish, Ultralight, Comfortable, and Strong Bike Trailer for Two Kids
I've had this for almost two years now and have taken it on dozens of rides, on bike trails and offroad, sometimes on very rough terrain with no troubles at all. Other than a few minor quibbles, I find it easily the best bike trailer I've ever used (and I have three.) Here's now the Honey Bee trailer from Burley breaks down. Pros: - Plenty of room for two kids to sit with comfort and space - Looks very sharp on the trail and I get lots of questions and comments about it - Folds down quite flat and all parts (the pulling arm and wheels) fit conveniently inside folded trailer for storage - The kids find the Honey Bee very comfortable to both sit and sleep in for hours at a time - The dark tinted windows are very spacious and afford the kids a terrific, clear panoramic view - The storage in the back is quite generous and I almost never run out of space - Foot brake is easy to use and effective (though it can't really be used while moving) - Inside pockets by each child are convenient for holding toys (but not quite large enough for snack cups) - Trailer doubles as a stroller that even works well off road as long as the weight is light (too heavy and the front wheel folds on you) - Waterproof as it gets. Had several huge downpours and the kids stayed nice and dry behind the rain shield - Very lightweight yet strong. Picks up easy, though taking off the arm for storage may be hard for some - Tires come off and go back on extremely easily with a single push button - Nice adjustable stroller arm on top that's convenient for holding an action cam too - Nice wheel bumper guides that make it gentler for the kids if you accidentally hit a post or something Cons: - The seat belt snaps are just too close to the bottom. I've cut my finger three times under the nail rooting around under a kid to get the belts on or off. There's something flat and sharp on the belts that cuts me. I also have to lean almost all the way into the trailer to get them off. A chest strap would be much more preferable. - It's really hard to get the hitch rod inserted into the bike receiver. It's not tapered at the bottom and so requires lubrication and considerable fiddling and force every time to get inserted. I think it's due to the extra wide safety strap on this version of the rod as I have the same hitch mechanism on other Burley trailers that I have, yet have never had a problem before. I filed down the rod end so it tapers more and it works well now. - The adjustable stroller handle on top is a dream, but doesn't hold under much force and slips easily even when locked. If you're pushing the trailer into a truck using the handle or worse, pushing it as a stroller off road with some weight in it (two kids + cargo space full), the handle easily slips all the way and just isn't very usable. - Doesn't come with a storage bag. And the one Burley makes looks very nice hanging on the wall with the trailer inside, but is just a bit too flimsy for sustained use, so be very gentle with it. For me, the pros of this trailer far outweigh the few cons. I do look forward to another iteration that fixes the very tiny issues with otherwise stellar bike trailer for two kids.

balance issues
The seat feels like it is inclined forward causing my 2 year old's head to fall forward easily when asleep with the crotch strap doing most of the heavy lifting. The trailer tips backward when not attached to the bike with maybe 20 pounds of gear in the back.

I love this trailer with some buts....
Things I love. 1.Its easy to assemble and collapse. Although it's still pretty big when collapsed. 2. It's got pockets inside for my little ones snacks and drinks. 3. Lots of space in the back for shopping. 4. Easy to attach and detach from the bike. 5. My little one assures me that she doesn't feel the bumps when it goes over the many many potholes in the roads of my town. 6 it's an odd thing to love but I love that when the front wheel is down it prevents you from attaching to the bike. If it didn't have that I would be that person who leaves the front wheel in position and wonders why it falls off. 7. It's actually pretty nice to push as a pram. (Until you get to a curb) Don't 1. Today I left it out in the rain. Not even a heavy rain by British standards and it leaked through the roof onto my child's seat. I think this is because the material that was really tight when I first got it (one month ago) has quickly become saggy so the water pooled and dripped through. I have returned it for this reason. I am hoping for more luck with the next one. 2. my little one seems hunched over. She's fine but I wish I could adjust the seat. 3 the yellow wheel buttons come off easily 4. The handle is absolutely useless if I need to lift or push down for a curb. It just moves. If you put shopping in the boot as a pram. It tips back really easily. I have returned to amazon because of the leaky roof. Rain coming in renders it useless in the UK. I'm hoping I have more luck with the next one. If not it will also be returned and I will go for a cheaper rain proof model from a different brand.

Sizeable and sturdy
When it comes to safety and the waterproof factor, you really want the best for your kids without spending £800+ . I'm impressed with the quality and price of this Burley Honey Bee Bike Trailer and recommend to anyone looking for one.

great product
fantastic product. So easy to use both as stroller, jogger and trailer. I didnt find any need for purchasing the jogger wheel, works fine as is but perhaps it is because we dont mind steering every now and then.

Great trailer
Very good brand, with a good manual of explanations. Only one thing to improve : when you want to go down from a big step, because of the weight of kids in the trailers, the junction screw between the handle bar and the frame make a "clic". It's not tight enough.

Great!
Easy to push, good off road e.g. At festivals, haven't used much with bike yet. Packs down dead small. Only drawback is it's easy to trip up on little wheel which sticks out.
