SIMPLE fix for Mr. Coffee overflows
Our new Mr. Coffee (BVMC-JWX31RB-NP) 12 cup has a design flaw or two that does not allow free flow of coffee from the brew basket. The brew basket is too short - usually the arm of the water nozzle will touch it to keep it in place. Without this the basket is lifted by the coffee pot rendering the brew basket drip valve useless. Coffee cannot escape and overflows, leaving grounds in the coffee and brew basket as well as in the water reservoir. Really aggravating. Even a metal permanent filter had the same problem. Removing the drip valve (that spring thing) did not solve entirely as water is pumped in faster than it can drain. Whether that is a design flaw or improvement is unclear. My fix: Remove drip valve (save it-never throw away spare parts) and use these filters! These coffee filters are taller and probably a better quality allowing proper filtering in a reasonable time to avoid overflow. THEY WILL APPEAR TOO BIG - that's ok, that extra above the brew basket will stop any overflow that could occur. Just be sure the filter is tucked under the water nozzle properly so it won't collapse into the grounds. Our coffee has never been better!

The box says it fits 8 to 12 cup filter basket but, this filters are a little bigger at the base, about quarter of an inch all around, we’re kind of scrunched them a little into our basket and they work, but need to be careful when you put it into the machine for brewing, you might drag the filter on insertion and have a spillover

They hold a LOT of ground coffee
I started using these with a Bunn coffee maker. When I switched to a different machine years later, I kept using these. I like my coffee STRONG! I use a LOT of coffee while brewing. Normal filters are so short, ground coffee can float over the top of the filter and into the pot as the coffee is brewing. That doesn't happen with these nice tall Bunn filters. They are also sturdier than most filters. I feel kind of unsure about using bleached disposable filters, instead of my reusable basket filter, but it just doesn't hold enough coffee. (I do compost the filters, at least.)

Economical purchase
These filters work in our 12 cup Mr. Coffee maker. They’re easy to use and the amount will keep us supplied for a long while.

They work fine.
I use these in my Bunn commercial coffee maker. No surprises.

Excellent basket filter for people who love good, strong coffee
Wonderful size for my coffee maker (specifically, if anyone is wondering about size of basket, mine is the Breville Precision Brewer Thermal). There is no flavour transfer when using these larger basket filters. And, these are large enough to contain the coffee grounds within the filter!!! Love them!!! My household prefers strong coffee, so this obviously means a generous amount of grounds needed to make a full pot of coffee. The usual basket filters sold in stores were much too small and allowed coffee grounds to overflow (despite the claim they are useable for up to 12 cups of coffee) and would dispense grounds into the pot of coffee; plus made a mess inside the filter basket/holder. For those wondering about the amount of grounds these larger filters will hold, I use 12 large rounded scoops of coffee grounds for a full pot of coffee (as mentioned, I have a Breville coffee machine that only makes 12 cups). Hope this helps anyone considering larger filters for their coffee maker.

Worked well in my 12-cup Black & Decker coffee maker for 3yrs, buying more
I've used these filters in my Black & Decker 12-Cup coffee maker for 3 years, and I just ordered more. The B&D basket is just a hair under 4 inches across the flat bottom, and has sides that are about 2-3/4 inches high. I think the ~perfect~ filter would have a flattened-diameter of 9 to 9-1/2 inches. These Bunn commercial filters are a bit larger, nearly 9-3/4 inches diameter. But that's close-enough, and guarantees no grounds will overflow! I was dismayed when all the grocery-store filters kept overflowing and giving me chunky coffee :-( There is one minor annoyance though - these Bunn filters are designed for a 4-1/4 flat basket-bottom. So, I have to kind of lightly force-squnch it into the bottom of the basket, and then the sides fit the entire height of the basket. These filters rarely (maybe 3 in 1,000) flop over when brewing. They never get overwhelmed by water and flood over-top. The next size down - Bunn A10 - is a full 1 inch smaller diameter, and would probably perform just like store filters... that is, they'd flood over top and bring grounds into your carafe. So, after using 1,000 of these Bunn 6001 filters in my Black & Decker 12-cup coffee maker, I find the minor fitment drawback is far exceeded by the actual performance. And I cannot find anything that would fit better (a 9in diameter filter with 4in base would be awesome - right in-between common sizes). Because these filters are stacked within each other, the inner-most fits the B&D basket most-easily, while the bottom-most in each stack is a little "splayed" and requires an extra moment of fiddling to get it to fit. If I could give 4.5 stars, that would probably be a better rating.

Perfect for Breville Precision.
Perfect size/fit for the Breville precision brewer. Other filters that say 10-12 cups, or 8-12 cups are way too small. This one, with a 4,1/4” diameter on the flat part, is the perfect size, and the height is perfect too. And 1000 filters, will literally last me years, even if I’m making a pot of coffee every single day.

Good quality filters, that fixed my Bunn problems.
We were having problems with our Bunn coffee maker overflowing the filter and coffee rising out of the filter chamber when we used generic 8-10 sized filters. With these (although a bit too tall for our 10cup machine) we have not had these issues anymore. The coffee grounds also seem to stay st the bottom of the filter better which can only improve the brew. FYI 1000 filters is quite a bit... about 1.5ft stacked up, if you are thinking about storage.

No more coffee grounds in my coffee!
These filters are amazing even though they are ridiculously priced. I have a Bunn 10 cup Velocity Coffee maker and these are the only filters that fit right to the top of the basket. I no longer have coffee grounds in my coffee.
