Great option for a reasonably affordable and more playful take on a formal style

I've always had an affinity for Bulova watches since there was a factory in my hometown. This one is stylish enough to wear in a formal context, but has a tasteful, modern flair to it-- like, you're going to see a matinee performance of the local symphony, but in the recently-opened, ultramodern auditorium, kind of a thing. The color palette is generally striking in how rare watches make good use of brown (or metallic brown) as a color for something other than leather, but then you also get the skeleton element of being able to see the spinny bits inside. Roman numerals I'm not usually a fan of because their inferior legibility to Arabic numerals, but this one I made an exception for because it was pretty. Also have glowy hands and number markings, so you can read the watch in the dark (even if it's not as clear as if the numbers were painted as well-- we can't all be perfect, including this watch). The movement seems decent and functional, but it's not a particularly high-end one, as indicated by the fact that the rotor is annoyingly loud (plus the relative lack of ornamentation). The movement itself is super quiet when the rotor isn't moving. I don't have much experience with Miyotas but this one seems fine, and it's also easy and super smooth to set the time. They aren't super accurate so you have to check them frequently, but if you're within a few minutes and aren't using this watch to run scientific experiments that go on for weeks at a time, you should be good. There is one proper complaint I have and that's the deployant clasp. I don't have a great reason for hating deployant clasps, but I'm am much more a fan of the old school pin-and-buckle style. The big thing about this one that's annoying is that the pin to set it in place requires Herculean precision and strength to undo and adjust. It is not an easy thing. Anyway, this is a great lil watch. Recommended.

What a beautiful watch.

This watch is so beautiful and I can't wait to start wearing it. I love the automatic movement so you never have to replace a battery. The only thing that I have a gripe with is the band is just a bit small for me but it's not a deal breaker. This is such a classy watch that I will be wearing it on my next cruise.

Nice, but not perfect

It's a very nice-looking watch, keeps time well, and is simple to set (no date or day displays to mess with, just 12 and 24 hour dials). The self-winding mechanism is oddly loose - if you move your arm right (or shake the watch), you can see, feel, and even hear the mechanism spinning rapidly in the back of the watch. It's not a deal breaker, of course, but definitely not what I was expecting.

Purchased this for my Husband as a Xmas gift. He is a watch snob, and normally a Movado man, but he LOVED the style on this watch and said it looked classy AND sexy. I got $100.00 off on it when I ordered it, so it was a great deal. I only wish they had a MATCHING women's watch----it would be mine!!!!

Good beginners mechanical

Had it for a week so far, it was just as I expected it to be. Time is still accurate and no need to adjust. Deployment clasps is a bit fiddly to put on, but in any case doesn't take longer than 15 seconds to put on. Can't really go wrong with this if you want to get into mechanical watches.

Very disappointed from that product

Disclaimer: I was fully refunded by Amazon after reaching out to them, and they offered me to keep it. I paid over 435CAD for this product. Fast delivery, the unboxing left me with mixed feelings. The box seem of good quality, however the watch itself seemed smaller than the photos advertised and the overall look seemed "darker" or not as bright and shiny from the photos. I did purchase other watches online before that didn't give that feeling during the unboxing. The watch itself is very light and the bracelet feels very cheap. It took me a few days to get accustomed with the locking mechanism, which I now really like (for the very rare times I wear it). Overall, I do not recommend this product AT that price range. If you find that same watch between 35 to 100 CAD, I'd say go for it. Otherwise stay away from it.

Muy bonito pero muy delicado

El reloj tiene un diseño increíble, realmente es muy muy muy bonito, de inmediato se ve que es un reloj fino, le doy tres estrellas peque ciertamente es muy bonito pero el cristal se raya muy rápido al igual que se raya bastante y muy rápido el cromo del reloj, eso le resta presencia y lo hace ver cómo un reloj viejo al poco tiempo de uso, creo que para ser un reloj de ese precio debería tener materiales más resistentes, otro punto muy malo es que la cuerda no le dura absolutamente nada, si lo dejas de usar y lo guardas en cuestión de 24 horas el reloj ya se detuvo, lo que debe de durar la cuerda de un reloj automático es mínimo 3 días, ésto te obliga a traerlo siempre puesto o a ajustar la hora cada de que lo vuelvas a usar después de guardarlo por un dia
