It does work
Works as expected.

Held up to a whole summer of field work
This withstood many times of brushing against tree twigs and foliage. I only got one hole on the back, and I am honestly impressed with all the bush whacking that it only got that. Forewarning, duct tape won't patch this easily, hard to stick to and through the fabric to itself. There are many snags where you see the fabric bunched up, but that did not alter the overall integrity of the suit, the knit is small and strong. Kept away black flies and deer flies. Cut down on mosquito bites, but with their long suckers you can't expect to be bite free. I think the addition of solid shoulder and elbow patches could help with this design wise to prevent bites in close to skin areas. It does get hot wearing it but every bug net has that issue. Definitely a step up from a face net. Got stinky from sweat and bug spray but hand washing with woolite made it fresh every time. The zippers held up too. Wrist elastics did seem to not stay tight sometimes so that was the only annoyance I could think of. The net being black on the face area is helpful for vision. I looked really goofy all summer but I got the least bites! The head ends in a point on top, so I looked like a true green forest gnome. Overall compared to others in the price range I think this gets a 5 in all areas.

Bug top,
Small is still really big and it doesn't breathe. I tried it on and immediately started to sweat. I got it to work in the yard and didn't want to attempt it out of the air conditioning. Looks like it would work against bugs, but between being really big and not as breathable as I'd like, just won't work for my needs.

Don’t think - just BUY!
I live in the Northeast suburbs. I have an organic garden and don’t spray for bugs. The mosquitoes are always an issue in the summer but this year (2018) they were worse (various news articles on this). I finally bit the bullet and ordered mosquito netting clothing - both this top and the pants. I’m 5’1” and 113 lbs and I bought small in both. They are baggy and loose but that’s for a reason, you don’t want them to be fitted hence potentially allowing mosquitoes access to your skin surface and hence biting you. They work GREAT! Very effective. I actually felt safer from other bugs too and so started wearing them anytime I went outdoors - to work on the garden, to play with the dogs, to cook on the grill. Without these I wouldn’t have been able to do these things this summer. They were a life saver I usually wear a long sleeve cotton shirt and long pants underneath both. Leaving exposed skin opens up the chance a mosquito might find a way to bite you (I found out the hard way). It does get hot in the suit but it’s still the best made item on the street and I highly recommend it The zipper opening at the neck is ingenious. I personally always stayed zipped up as mosquitoes bite my face as much as anywhere else Don’t hesitate. Just BUY! I used mine nearly every day until recently (its End of October now). And plan to use all the time next year also. Sturdy and durable so far.

No bug repellent necessary
I love this bug jacket (and pants)! I am deathly allergic to all bug repellents (and bug bites), and usually have to wear long sleeves & pants or multiple layers to keep from being eaten alive. However, I can't stand to be overdressed in the summer. So to not get eaten or over heated, I avoid bugs by staying indoors. This sucks! I love the outdoors! Now I can venture out and go berry picking, gardening, or sit with the family around the campfire. No bugs could get through the mesh and I wasn't overdressed. This bug jacket and accompanying pants are the answer. They are thin, but strong, and go over clothing easily. They are poofy enough to keep the bugs away from my skin. I was able to go berry picking in the woods, and never got bitten. I didn't even need to worry about ticks. There are ties to seal around the wrists and bottom of the jacket (pants have ankle ties). There is a zipper at the neck to allow you to open the front to get a drink or eat without having to take the whole thing off. The mesh appears delicate, but is tough enough for scrambling through the bushes and woods without getting holes. Once again, I can enjoy being outside in the summertime without worrying about being bitten by bugs!

Gardening Bliss!
So happy to have received this bug jacket in record time from Amazon. I had started working in my yard with the advent of warmer weather, but had to stop because my face and neck were quickly covered with bites. I don't know how I finally thought of bug screen clothing, probably a blog somewhere. The Coghlan version is the least expensive I found online. The jacket is a wonderful substitute for insect repellent, which I never remember to apply. Also, you have to be really careful how you use repellent on your face. I got a small size, which fits people up to 160 #. It is roomy enough for me with sweatshirt and down jacket on underneath, and I'm not slim. Helpful notes: You probably need a hat to keep the screening from your skin, especially around your face. This also keeps the netting in place; because it's so roomy, it tends to slide around. I would have given it 5 stars, but 1) the black netting on the face section is a bit difficult to see thru; others say that light color netting is easier than dark; and 2) I haven't had it long enough to tell how sturdy it will be (it does seem to be well made, but it is netting).

Don't go by pictures...
So, it my bad for not reading things... But one of the pictures of the product shows a couple in shorts with a full bug suit. This is only the head covering and jacket. No pants. Not sure why they would show that when there are none. Pants sold separately.

Saved me from a lot of bug bites
In September we were absolutely swarmed with wasps and I was stung. I am a keen gardener and could not get away from the damn things. Then there were the mosquitoes which took huge chunks out of me. Then these tiny specks that bite (no see-ums?) and made the worst painful itchy bites of all. I was going absolutely nuts with the pain and itching and then I got the idea to buy a bug suit. It's a busy time for gardeners and this suit, top and bottoms, has been a godsend. The hood is easy to use, and the arms and legs have elastic ties that can be adjusted. Working the vegetable patch I've been buzzed all day long with no bites and stings. It's so light weight that it is not difficult to wear and it seems quite strong. I've caught it on branches and burrs and carefully removed myself with no damage to the suit. And being fine mesh, It doesn't make you hot and you don't sweat. The only difficulty I have had is with the elastic ties at the ankles and wrists. I am small boned and so there is a lot of elastic sticking out so I have to keep tucking it inside the sleeve. Apart from that, it's amazing and has been a real lifesaver. I wish I'd had it earlier in the year.

Good weight, keeps the bugs off
Works well. I used it for working out, outside. The hood is great and that it has a zip to open up the jacket and have your head free if you want. Weight is good. Breathable. Kept the bugs off and did the job. I'm considering the pants. Toggles at the ends of the arms and bottom worked well to tighten to your preference. I bought the small size which fit well. I'm 5'4" and about 61kgs - a size 10ish. Lots of room to move. A medium would have been way too big.

It does work!
Definitely the least sexy thing I'll ever own, but it works. I wore it deep in the woods and didn't get any mosquito bites where the jacket covered me. The visibility is a bit difficult, which is a reason for 4 instead of 5* stars. Especially since it's not as bright in the woods, it obscures your vision. Anyway, I would still recommend it. I am 5'2" and 115 lbs, I love that it's baggy and long (to mid thigh).

Not a fashion statement but it works
When I gently took the jacket off there was a tick on the arm of it which I smashed with a hammer. Stepping on the bug did nothing. So this article worked perfectly. The hood is annoying with long hair so make sure your hair is tied back or under a ball cap.
