The quality of this box is pure peace of mind
I love it, and I haven't installed it yet! Excellent quality; it seems just what I needed for a professional install at a money-saving price for the project. I thought that is a lot of money for a plastic box, but when I held it in my hands and operated the latch, the quality is obvious. Let me explain: I have an outdoor sewerage sump, and I need an alarm to tell me if the demand pump stops moving our home sewerage out into the city system. Outdoors is the issue. A quality weather resistant alarm is very expensive; the same quality for indoor use is much, much less. So, I will install the non-waterproof alarm inside this weather proof box in a protected place by the sump, and save something like a hundred dollars! Bud Industries seems to have whatever size box you need, and the quality of this box is pure peace of mind.

Nice outdoor box
Nice outdoor box with dimensions that are true. The clear lid is marked Polycarbonate which makes it nice and rigid. This will be housing some electronics that will endure lots of weather, shock and vibe. The dimensions of this were true, and they even provided drawings in the photos! If you don't need to open and close this too often it should work just fine. Pros: Dimensions are true to what was listed. Gasket does a good job keeping moisture and other things out. Plenty of mounting holes Comes with some mounting hardware Should be UV resistant Cons: Plastic snap-to-close handles Plastic hinges Gasket will sometimes pull out of the lid when opening

One tuff enclosure
This was a really good buy. I had reservations about installing it outside but it's been years now and it still looks like new. The seals work great and I've never found moisture in it. Of course, I put more controls in it than I should have but it didn't care one bit. Great product.

Great enclosure

Sturdy box w/ tight weather seal
Sturdy box with a tight seal. I did find the box wall thickness almost too thick to allow use of a standard connector for steel conduit.
