Nice Metal box

Home recording studio. Nice to work with. Easy to drill for installing phone jacks and switches. Used for a line out interface between computer and speakers. Allows A/B speaker comparison and multiple speakers to be connected to line outs. Also provides a way to silence all speakers when in record mode.

Box is decent quality, square and true. dimentions were true to spec.

Box is as described, appears sturdy and the finish while not polished by any means is smooth to the touch. There do not appear to be any flaws in the casting or finishing. It came with a neoprene gasket and screws and they both appear to work. Happy with the product.

Nice, but beware the sides are not a perfect 90 degrees

As others have noted, the lid side is bigger than the bottom. For the Size 8-3/4" Length x 5-47/64" Width x 4-7/32" Height, it's about 1/4", making the sides slightly not 90 degrees. It's working just fine for my mini amp anyways, and I plan on compensating for it with the rubber feet (I'm using it on its side).

Great enclosure, very versatile

Great enclosure, very versatile. The castings are good and clean, and line up reasonably square for machining. The aluminum used machines, drills and taps nicely. The 3D models and drawings posted are not spectacular, quality-wise, but they're good enough to plan your component layout. I'll buy more of these next time I need something.

The enclosure met my needs. The dimensions were exactly as published. I was able to drill the necessary holes for conduit attachment and cut a rectangular hole for a small display using my jigsaw with a metal cutting blade.
