Shuts out every bit of light.
I’ve purchased so many of these over the years I’ve lost count. This masks blocks out all light while staying off of your eyes. It is adjustable and just overall amazing.

These eye masks cut the light, but are too large for my face.
The mask cuts the light but are too large for my face. I am a side sleeper and the fabric does not mold to my eyes and moves away, allowing light to filter through. The band is too wide.

Not as advertised
While the sale states peony pink is actually hot pink. While I love the mask I am unhappy with the color. This is the second time ordering that the color has been incorrectly pictured

Good mask!
Out of gazillion of sleeping masks I chose this: comfy, adjustable, very good in blocking the light. 4 stars because they only last 9-10 months for me. Considering the price - not a big deal, but still, 4 stars.

Hair, Beware
I much prefer this lower-profile version over the regular Bucky Sleep Mask, which is enormous. This one is still quite large (and I do not have a particularly small head for a woman). It does take some getting used to if you are a side-sleeper, because the mask will move a bit on your face and, being somewhat stiff, needs exact placement to block the light. It is nice to be able to blink, though, which is difficult with the flat silk-type masks. Also, I believe that the flat type do contribute to wrinkling around the eyes when worn nightly for extended periods. One major caveat with this mask (and I actually have experienced this with other sleep masks, as well) is that the Velcro will get caught in your hair. The first night that I used it, I awoke in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, and, when I tried to remove the mask, I could not because a huge clump of my hair was intractably snarled up in the Velcro on the strap. It took me 10-15 minutes to even get to the point where I could get the mask down enough to CUT the remaining stuck hair off. I was not happy about this, as I have very fine, thin, straight, long, all-one-length hair and so any cutting in random spots is very evident. I was, however, able to remedy this issue by cutting a strip of felt (any soft material should work, though felt is ideal) to cover the remaining Velcro which is exposed after attaching the mask. The felt (or fabric) will stay there until you remove it, thus preventing future hair entanglement and loss. Overall, the mask is the best one that I could find on the market (and I have tried many brands and types). It's not as comfortable as sleeping without a mask, but, if your situation dictates that you use one, I would recommend this one over any available others.

The Best
My husband and I came across Bucky Blinks years and years ago at Bed Bath and Beyond. We really needed eye masks at the time because we have pretty different schedules and we didn't want to keep each other up, or wake each other up. But they are all very uncomfortable things - having something touching my closed eyelids was actually worse than the light. This is a completely different beast. It is shaped like a tiny little bra that keeps the material bulged off of the eyes. This is actually comfortable to sleep in. This does not make your skin sweaty and if you are prone to breakouts, it isn't going to cause them nearly as much, in my experience. It is pitch black in there. The only downside is that all of the Bucky masks we have had before wear out pretty quickly - in less than a year. If you find them as comfortable as we do, you will be happy to replace them at that rate. To be fair, this one is made out of a slightly different material than our old ones, so it may wear and tear differently. I would say this sleep mask is at least worth one try for anyone who uses them to sleep regularly.

I'm buying one for my mother-in-law
The materials feel good and it mostly sits well on my face. It blacks out 97% of the light and helps me sleep in when the days are long and nights are short. I have a small nose so light does enter from below my nose but I don't think that can be helped. I'm also a back sleeper so the band annoys the back of my head. I have slick straight hair too so it doesn't stay up sometimes and I have to put it on a little tighter than I'd like and I wake up with the rings from the mask around my eyes. Is it worth it for me? Yes! I can never sleep in when its bright out so when i wake up i put them on and fall back asleep for another 30 min- to 1 hour. The travel version is great for smaller faces. Their regular masks are too wide for me so if i sleep on my side it shifts the mask. The dome inside doesn't touch my eyeballs which is nice but I don't actually care if it did or not since I don't wear falsies or do anything with the hair around my eyeballs. :-) My other masks were shiet compared to this one because this one does stay on better than others I've had.

Just accept it will fall apart in a couple months.
This is not meant to be a long term product, this is a disposable eye mask that works very well. If they simply stitched the outline instead of just glue it, it would last more than a couple months but probably not be as effective at blocking out light. As they are now they will last anywhere from 2-6 months depending on frequency of use and moisture. I get night sweats so mine fall apart in a couple months as I hand wash them. For $15 a piece it's not bad even if I need 3 a year but it would be nice if they lasted a bit longer.

Best eye mask
This is my second Bucky eye mask and I really like it. My first one was the same and it lasted for years, but it finally started falling apart, so I bought this new one. I found that they hold up very well if I handwash it with Soak. The adjustable strap helps the mask fit comfortably but doesn’t tug at skin, hair or leave marks. The mask completely blocks out all light, and it’s one of the best eye masks I’ve had. The eye areas in the mask are concave, so eyelashes aren’t flattened or pulled like they are with a traditional flat eye mask. My only complaint, which is minor, is that the strap is Velcro and sometimes hair can get caught.

So disappointed. So thin and small.
So disappointed. I bought two of these pink ones because I’ve been using Bucky for years but the ones I got sent are wayyyy smaller than the ones I bought in person and has barely any padding that it feels like the pink ones I got are knock offs. As you see in the photo, the pink ones I bought here are laid on top of the black ones I bought from Bed, Bath and Beyond. Now I end up using gym old ones to sleep because these pink ones feel like I have sharp cardboard paper over my eyes.

Significant Downgrade
I bought a Bucky mask 6 years ago and it finally started to fall apart— that one was made with a thick-ish foam with soft fabric lining both sides, and was decently large. This one is extremely thin and very little in comparison to the old one, the fabrics lining it feel very tough, and it’s like a thick, plastic-y lining that is uncomfortable on the face rather than a cushioned lining. I’m disappointed since I was so happy with the quality of the old mask, this is a massive downgrade in both size and quality.

Love my Bucky eye masks, but keep out of the dryer
I love the Bucky eye masks and have been wearing them for years. They apply no pressure to the actual eye and the pressure around the eye is perfectly placed, and has even helped with my migraines. They keep out all the light, which is also amazing when travelling. I will say that the material does separate after a while, especially if you put it in the dryer. So I have unfortunately gone through more than I would like. I now put them in the washer in a laundry bag and put them on a drying rack, which seems to work much better.
