Tough to find the right size but otherwise, a great pair of shoes!
Buying shoes can be difficult in general and doing so online can be quite complicated. Below is my experience and thoughts about these Bruno Maglis. As much as I like my Allen Edmonds Park Avenues, I found that the leather for the shoes were too stiff and abrasive for my feet. So I searched for a more comfortable and softer leather shoes and came across the Bruno Magli Raging Slip-On. I am very pleased with this purchase - they look great! It can be worn for business casual (e.g., slip-ons plus pressed trousers, button-down shirt) or for more casual purposes (e.g., with denim). It can last you a long time if you take proper care of it. While you might want to confirm with your local cobbler, after I spoke to my local shoe repair specialists, they confirmed that they are recraftable (i.e., can be re-soled). The main problem I ran into was that I had to try/order at least 4 pairs to find the right size. I pretty much went a full size down. I started off from a 10.5, tried a 10, followed by a 9.5W, and finally settled for a 9.5. In the process, I ended up changing my mind and went from the black to the brown slip-ons. You probably won't go wrong with either color - I'd ideally like to get another pair in black! I'm still in the process of breaking them in and I've noticed that the toe area is ever so slightly snug even though I chose the best fit. Not a problem for me since after I wear them for a few minutes, I no longer notice the slight tightness. Another reviewer mentioned that the leather is very soft and can be easily creased and that there was a nail sticking out of a heel. The leather does get creased easily but in my opinion, nothing that makes the shoes look bad; still that's a good observation and something to keep in mind. Thankfully no nail sticking out of the sole either (in fact, none of the ones I tried had a defect like that if I recall). If you want these shoes to last, you'll have to take care of them, just like anything else. Here is what I do: I wear these shoes every other day and insert shoe-trees right after taking them off. I store them in my office so its mainly worn inside a building. I do this so I don't have to wear them when I'm coming into work and it's raining. I had the misfortune of being a bit too carefree and the rain slightly damaged a decent pair of leather shoes. FYI. I found that using the Dark Brown Meltonian shoe cream works really well. It matches the shoe color perfectly it seems, whereas this cream didn't work for a dark brown Ferragamo that I have. Overall, I didn't think there was a reason for me to give this product less than 5 stars. The way I see it, if am wanting to purchase another pair, then that's a sign that I love it and that's worth 5 stars!

One size too big but spores right be same quality.
Ok, read the other reviews and felt obligated to write one since I’ve purchased this exact shoe and have been wearing them for about seven years now. The original pair that I purchased was from Nordstrom’s. Yes, these shoes purchased from amazon run large. One size larger for sure. So I returned them and have exchanged it for a 14 wide since they did not have any regular 14’s. The 14 wide are almost identical in size with the size 15’s that I purchased 7 years ago. They fit quite well. So, the quality of the show looks like it’s the same standard as the original ones that I purchased. I’m crossing my fingers that over time they perform as well as the other brunomagli’s that’s I own. Love these shoes. Will write a follow up review on the performance Of these brunomagli’s.

excellent value
I got a really good price on these and they seem comfortable (iv'e only had them a few weeks). My only complaint is that the shoes do run very large. I normally wear a 10.5w to 11w size shoe. I ordered 10.5w and they seem to be about 1/2 size too big and probably more like one size too big. - I have a lot of space between my toes and the front of the shoes. I thought about returning them but the 10W was almost double the price. The good news is the after using them at the office for a few days, they are comfortable.

It's a Bruno Magli.. You get the locks. Quality and Comfort could be better
The shoe has the Bruno Magli sharp look. It was not that comforatbale to wear these shoes. The heal is not rubber shock observing, so IMHO it's made for short walks, possible in office space, and less for street walking. The strength of the relatively thin leather did not make keep it shape on the long run. Along the years, I found other better shoes, nice looking, more durable and comfortable, for much better value per money.

Best dress shoes
I have purchased three pairs of these shoes over the last ten years. I wear them almost daily to work and they are without a doubt the most comfortable dress shoe I have ever own.

Softest leather imaginable - and you can wear them all day right out of the box (IMO!)
These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever had - and this is my 3rd pair now. Leather is soft and supple and forms to your foot - adding 3/4 arch supports is never a bad idea if you are on your feet all day but for many people you won't need too. I bought my first pair at Nordstrom for $400 - never again! Much better pricing at Amazon - key is to know your size. I am a 10W and these fit perfectly.

I’d of course love if there were sales more often
I’ve seen older reviews of these not being genuine Bruno Magli shoes. This is now the third pair I’ve bought. Two in Napa Brown and this one in Black. These shoes are perfection. I had my original black pair for almost 10 years. I’d of course love if there were sales more often, but this to me is the perfect men’s slip on dress shoe. It’s worth it.

Shoes that are tearing apart
I have been purchasing this type and brand of shoes for 30 years. This is the first time that the leather is peeling or wearing off, see picture. Is this real leather? Usually, my shoes last 5 years before they show any wear and tear. Is this product authentic or is it a knock off. Thanks.
