Damaged used parts
Upon receiving this item, the hook that looks into the pull start was bent as if someone installed it backward and returned it. I had to straighten out the hook before it would work.

Only takes a few minutes to install. Works just like the one it had when new.
Sometimes these rewind springs just wear out and snap. This replacement went right on and works perfectly. (And it's cheaper here than the local mower shop said they could get it from their supplier. They said they might start buying them from Amazon because I got it cheaper and faster than the parts place they use.)

Worked great!
The only thing that could've improved this is if were shipped wound a little smaller. We had to hand wind it into our MTD pull start. Just a little time and effort, nbd.
