Looks great when finished, but was tricky to hang
This is heavy paper with a finish that looks exactly like "knock down" or skip-troweled splatter. It is so heavy that it covers holes and cracks without the use of fillers. I found that I could not locate holes drilled in the wall for towel bars, even while the wallpaper was still wet (and even though I had marked their locations). This is pre pasted paper, but the "how to hang wallpaper" book I read said to use "activator" that you roll on the back side of such paper instead of soaking it in water. That didn't work. I tried both an "activator" from Ace hardware and also a product from Lowes labeled "paste for pre pasted wallpaper." They seemed identical. The problem was that after I rolled the activator onto the back of the paper, then booked it and let is sit the required time, it was too dry to hang. It fell off the wall. I think what happened is that the activator manufacturer didn't its use on this heavy a paper. So while it was booked (folded with the wet sides together) the paper soaked up all the activator. Not the fault of the Brewster paper. So I got the old-fashioned tub of water and soaked it briefly per instructions then booked it again. That worked much better. And their pre-pasted glue gets gooey and thick during the booking. Not like licking an envelope. This makes a thick glue. Since I had previously primed the walls and coated them with sizing, I then found it easy to hang the paper and slide it into position alongside the previous strip. But as it dried on the wall I found areas where it was detaching. Also, be aware that when soaked it is easy to tear, and will tear under its own weight where you may have cut sideways to fit around doors. And when you try to cut away excess paper next to a door moldings, for example, it will tear as you move the razor blade across the paper. Tear isn't quite the right word. Think of trying to draw a kitchen knife through wet Kleenex and you will get the picture. You must use a three or four inch putty knife to hold it tightly in place as you draw the sharp razor blade along the blade. Change blades often. They need to be sharp. Later, as it dried on the wall I found areas where the paper was detaching. The glue hadn't held. I repasted edge areas with the aforementioned "activator" but there were loose areas in the middle too. Like bubbles. I had to wet the paper again to allow it some give, then used a no-needle hypo (sold by pharmacies to inject fluid medicines into kids' mouths) and cut slits thru which to introduce more activator. It was tricky but all seemed well. But then, as I painted this paintable paper later, I found the water in the latex paint caused sections of the paper to loosen and sag on the wall slightly. I had to again wipe some activator onto the edges that had come loose. I didn't know what to do with the sagging areas, but found as the paint dried the paper tightened up by itself so much that the big bubbles in the middle of the paper disappeared. It dried tight to the wall. Now it looks great and people really think we have splattered sheet rock. So this is a mixed review. I had intended to use more of it to cover paneling made with grooves that look like gaps between boards. It would cover these gaps, for sure, with no filler. But I may try a different manufacturer's product to see if it is easier to hang, and cut, and might go up without all the remedial hand glueing.

Hang Carefully
I read all the reviews and tried some sample hanging on my walls. I finally figured out how to hang this where it adheres well and doesn't rip so easy. I have been wallpapering for over 30 years and know not to rely on the paste on the paper; I use Zinsser #69384 Sure Grip Heavy Duty Wallpaper Adhesive. I first apply a thin coat of the Zinsser adhesive on the wall section I am working, you can use a large paint brush, then I wet the wallpaper, I wet the wallpaper enough to get it lightly wet (sticky) but not soaked, book it a few minutes and hang it over the Zinsser adhesion. Don't laugh, but I lay a plastic paint sheet on my bed, lay the wallpaper on it and use a wet wash cloth to wet the paper. Smooth out the walls with a wallpaper smoothing tool and I use a seam rollover on the seams, make sure you have no bubbles. Wait a couple of days to paint, the paste must be completely dry and don't over soak the paper with paint, use two light coats of paint if you have to and make sure they dry well in between painting. Hope this helps!

It has good and bad points
I had new cabinets, countertops, and lighting installed in my late '80's-era kitchen. In place of my old wallpaper, I installed this product because it matched the knock-down texture of the walls in the rest of the house perfectly. Other users have mentioned the difficulty of trimming excess paper after it's up. They're right, don't try to trim it while it's wet. It's difficult to trim the excess when the paper is dry. I actually cut the paper to fit one area precisely, then wet it and put it up, and that method worked well. Then after the paper had dried at least 24 hours, I masked off the cabinets, counters, etc. with blue painter's tape, and applied two coats of good latex paint over two days. I allowed several hours drying time, then removed the blue tape, which was a pain. If you don't use a good, sharp blade to break the seal between the tape and the paint, the wallpaper will come up with the paint. In addition to cutting the seal, I'd suggest holding the wallpaper down as you carefully ease the tape loose. The final result does look nice, but requires some touching up around the edges in a few places. Hindsight is 20:20, and in this case I think I might have tried some spray-on knock-down texture. One thing I noticed after the first coat of paint was that the wallpaper bubbled in several places, however by the time the paint was completely dry, the bubbles had vanished.

like plaster look; easy to work with.
well worth it. . That said, If it gets too wet, it will tear VERY easily, but you can also hide lots of sins with it. We tried water only then decided to use our home depot strippable wallpaper paste (gallon size). I love this wallpaper though as it takes a wall to a good looking plaster look instead of a smooth cheap look. We used it in a small hallway. Take your time. Remember it doesn't stick to itself so you are butting only therefore plumb is important. Believe it or not, there is a pattern match but very hard to see so just put it up if you must and forget matching but make sure you put the strips up in the same direction for better look. (ie. don't alternate direction). If you tear it by accident, you can just use some water behind or on top and slide it back into place. GO SLOW. You will enjoy it though both in look and ability to decorate it with paint if you want or leave white.

Solutions IV paper would be a better choice.
First let me say that I don't wallpaper very often and I'm certainly no pro or expert. However I have wallpapered several times over the years. I found this wallpaper (Solutions III - an older version with the same pattern) very difficult to work with. I'll never buy a paper based wallpaper again after this experience. It was like working with tissue paper once is was wet. It was very easy to tear. BTW - The instructions are only simply drawings with no text what so ever which I found confusing. Solutions IV is made on a vinyl substrate in stead of paper and I think would be a much better choice but I don't think it's pre-pasted. I would not recommend this product.

Does not have enough glue
This product was supposed to be pre-pasted, but there was very little glue on the wall paper. After getting it up and letting it dry large sections of it came loose. We ended up having to remove the wallpaper completely and order a paintable product from another supplier. This product was a total waste of money
