Brazos Handcrafted Wood Walking Cane, Twisted Oak, Traditional Style Handle

Beautiful craftmanship and coloring of cane. I gave it four stars only because it came without a rubber cane tip. I did contact customer service and they are in the process of sending one. In the meantime, I ordered some 3/4 inch rubber tips (2) from Amazon so that I can use the cane safely. However, the rubber tip was most difficult to put on. Not really sure if it is seated properly. I am confident if the tip had been placed by Brazos, it would have been a better fit and look. As a retired purchasing manager, I would have expected that the tip would have been expedited to satisfy their customer's needs. The delay of the replacement rubber tip is not what I would have expected from Brazos. This cane is my third Brazos cane. I also have a Brazo walking stick. I am most happy with this newest cane; it is truly a beautiful crafted cane. My "gripe" is the lack of the rubber tip and the delayed shipment. If the ordered non-Brazos rubber tip had fit more easily, I would not have been so disappointed. Regarding the shipment, the cane was not wrapped in any protective paper or wrap as was my cane before this one. Please forgive this old purchasing guy for his criticism; it's Wednesday!!!! I definitely would purchase Brazos canes again if there was a need. I do recommend Brazos canes and walking sticks!

Handsome cane

This one was a gift so I don't know how the recipient likes it but we have one just like it. It gives sturdy support, looks stylish and the oak will last forever.

The Brazos Cane is stylish and superbly crafted!

As a Senior, I needed a cane to assist me with walking stability. I did not want to purchase a "regular" cane from a box store or medical supply company. The Brazos Twisted Oak cane was recommended to me. Its a beatifully crafted cane.

Not as good as old model

Was sad when I broke my last cane. Wasn’t easy to do, needed mechanical assistance to accomplish. I had cane for 13-14 years. Only cane I never lost and up til now, had never broken. Cane was always noticed and I got lots of compliments. I loved that cane. Previous cane was 1” in diameter. The new canes aren’t round, they’re oval and they’re noticeably smaller. I can’t find the circumference dimensions on website. Now, why wouldn’t they prominently display that information? Unfortunately, I fall fairly regularly. More often than I would like. In my experience, the larger cane felt more stable and was less likely to have the tip slide out from under me. Tip will slide if I don’t have it flat on the surface or if surface is slippery. That’s true for every cane. My bad. I admit my difficulty walking is NOT due to this cane, more likely my instability. (You wouldn’t understand why I need a cane.) If used properly and you want a classy cane, there is no reason not to purchase one of these. My review/opinion is very subjective and YMMV. I was pretty attached to the old style and it’s going to take me awhile to get used to the new. My opinion is based how much I like the new style, mehh, compared to old, not functionality. Maybe they should offer a choice of widths for old inflexible, grouchy, previous customers. Huh, huh?

Fantastic Cane - Craftsmanship is beautiful and it is very strong!

I had a cane like this that I used after surgery years ago. When I stopped using it, I stored it and of course someone broke into the storage locker and stole it. I have wanted a replacement for years, and finally found this one resembled the original. I was suprisingly impressed with the quality and craftsmanship. It was every bit as nice as the one I had previous, or perhaps a bit better. I'm a very big guy and the cane is solid as a rock.

A little too tall but a nice cane.

A very attractive and well made cane. It was a little too long but we were able to cut a piece off on the bottom and reattach the cane tip. Good craftsmanship and good solid wood and worth the money.
