Cranberry size 6 sort of "scrapey"; UPDATE - NOTE THE SIZE IN MM THESE ARE 6 1/2 NOT 6

I have lots of Boye knitting needles and usually they glide smoothly against each other. This pair "scrapes" against each other. I think it has to do with the coloring used - the cranberry. When I ordered this pair I also ordered 2 more pairs of Boye and they are fine - smooth and not "scratchy". I expect I will get used to this pair after awhile. But I deducted one star because of the "scrapey/scratchy" feel when the needles touch.

Perfect size for dishcloths

These are perfect for these cotton dishcloths that I make. I had the correct size of needle in the 14 inch length, but they were too awkward in the couch-- especially when the kitty wants to sit on the armrest!! So I'm very pleased with these new ones!!

They weren't long enough for bulky yard.

They were lightweight and the size I needed, but it would have been much easier if they were longer, and there weren't any.

4.25mm…..NOT 4.00mm

I purchased this with the belief that it’s a 4mm not 4.25… the description box I read said 4mm, not 4.25mm or size 6. It literally says 4mm. Someone needs to fix that, bc it does make a big difference

Great needles, but not new

I love these kinds of knitting needles, they’re great- but when ordering a new pair I expect a new pair. From the packaging (pictured is exactly how they came out of the package) to the dents in scratches this is obviously used.

Nice sturdy needles

A little heavier than I expected but good quality. Natural fibers work lovely but acrylic yarns drag just a little compared to my uncoated steel needles. All around a food buy

Light and comfortable

Boye makes some of the best needles for general projects. While i prefer rosewood needles, there are just some yarns that aluminum works best with. These are light and easy in the hands.
