Great hat!

Love this hat. So far I’ve only worn it in nice California weather but even on hot days it never felt too heavy or hot. Generally, I felt cooler with it on then without. Great protection and just wide enough brim to keep my ears covered. It’s held up in travels, reshaping after a few mishaps. Size-wise, I was right at the top-end of the medium sizing so ordered the medium. I could cram it on my head but a hat like this feels better slightly loose fitting so I ordered a large and gave the med to my son, who also loves it. There’s a super handy adjustment band on the inside of the hat so I definitely recommend sizing up if you’re near the top limit. My son’s head was well below medium but the adjustment band tightened all the way worked perfect. The large was perfect for me without any adjustment necessary.

Great hat and yes, it is packable

I was in the market for a hat to shield my head from the sun while sightseeing on vacations. I wanted something light, comfortable, and stylish (hey, I'm going to Europe) and the key is that I wanted it to be packable. One reviewer wasn't sure if it would stand up to being packed. It arrived in a packable state in a small box and I've tried it out. It holds up well but the manufacturer states that it shouldn't remain in a crushed state for an extended period. In other words, don't put it at the bottom of a big suitcase for a week. It has an Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) of 50+ which is excellent. As to the size, I purchased the combined L/XL size. I have a fairly large head and it fit well but if you tend to be at the extreme high side for head size, it may be too tight. I like the fedora style and I get a lot of compliments on it.

Hat arrived lumpy

I really wanted a hat that could travel without getting destroyed. Unfortunately this hat arrived already lumpy and mis-shapen, so I returned it. So bummed, I was really looking forward to wearing it!

Good Travel Accessory

Quality is excellent. Looks like it will hold up to packing and traveling. Style is a good for travel hat, but not for hipsters. I have another non uncrushable hat with more style for local use that would not work for traveling. Size was major concern as this is not elastic fit. Measuring head crown size proved correct. Arrived crushed and went back to shape almost instantly. Needed to use a little steam to get final form. An unexpected feature was that hat brim front and rear will lock into down or up giving several looks and protection options. Material appears breathable with visible air passages in material, a nice feature. Very pleased for my intended purpose.

I like the style of this hat and I love the SPF protection feature. However, it does fit a little snuggly and tight. After reading other reviews, I was hesitant to go the next size up because people were saying it was too large. So, I guess I'll just deal with it being too tight.

April Fools Day Came Early

A picture tells a thousand words, more than I can say about this hat. The fabric felt good. Couldn't put it on without laughing or being laughed at. They say insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome. That describes me by ordering hats from Amazon. I've ordered different hats from Amazon and they almost always come crushed and unwearable. Think twice before you buy these hats. Just look at the pictures of the nice hat on the website and the junk that is delivered. You decide.

Too Big

The size was to big and my head measurement was right, the mfg. made it too large? So I had to send it back.

Decent quality but no shape

-no structure to this hat, looks mashed -the fit is accurate, L-XLRG is app. 23-24 inches around inside -adjustability feature works well -it’s actually a bucket style hat just kind of formed as a fedora, so when I put it on it just looks like a creased up bucket hat -just wear it as a bucket hat!

Lovely Sun Hat

Great hat for the $$$$. Thick and with excellent spf. Great brand ; packaged poorly but bender back easy which suggests it will pack well .
