Works great
Bought for my wife as she traveled to Nepal, said it worked great..life saver in areas where you don't want to drink the water. now shes using it at home too, along with her brita filter. less plastic used and drinking cleaner water

Accompanied Me to South Africa
After a colossally unpleasant bout of food poisoning in India, I've gotten very careful when I travel abroad. This bottle went with me to a symposium in South Africa and seemed to do its job, as I drank tap water using it and never got sick. I'm not sure about its durability just yet, but it made the trip there and back just fine. The flavor it imparts to water isn't the best, and it isn't all that easy to get the water flowing (I'll spare you the sucking details), but it does what it's supposed to do. I'd buy it again, and I recommend it to others.

Kept me healthy for a month in central america
It was really convenient to have the straw built into the water bottle. I drank almost exclusively from this for a month in Honduras (albeit from a "filtered" tap of questionable quality) and only had 1 short bought of diarrhea, which I think was related to fresh fruit/veg being washed in that tap rather than from my drinking water. I've been back over a week and still have no GI or other troubles. My only 2 complaints are 1) ? it leaked on the plane. I believe it mentions something about this in the instructions, so that's probably my fault, but just beware. 2) when you are really thirsty it is more satisfying to gulp water versus sucking it through a straw. First world problem, I know.

Convenient but not as clear tasting as expected
Took Berkeley filtered water and filled this and the taste was changed. Not as good as 5he taste of already filtered Berkeley water. Good for out and about when water source is unsure. A bit small for a day trip bottle but does what it says.

Make drinking fountain water tasty again
I'm not completely used to sucking water through the filter yet, it's a little like sucking on a baby bottle I guess, but I can say that I am drinking more water at work because this makes the unpleasant drinking fountain water at work taste like bottled spring water.

Access to clean water on the go
Bought to have access to clean and. Safe water. On the go without have to constantly buying water. Was debating on size but 650ml size bottle is great, not too big nor small. It takes effort to suck water but not too difficult. Just one thing to be aware of; the filters - there are two parts to the filters: a membrane filter rated for 1000gallon and activated carbon filter rated for ONLY 26 gallons. Good news is you can buy and replace activated carbon filter separately from membrane filter but find this really odd. The company doesn’t clearly advertise this fact and feel bit misleading. But for the benefit I’m going to keep the bottle and just buy extra filters.

These bottles leak every day!
For a Lifestraw product I am a little disappointed. I purchased two of these for traveling abroad to be safe when the water is not potable. As a filter, this works great! But the bottle itself has flaws and I purchased two so I know it’s not just the one I received. Cons: - The biggest issue is the LEAKING! If the bottle is not perfectly upright it will continuously leak all over your bag or floor or wherever it may be placed. Even if you barely put water in the bottle it is destined to leak if it happens to fall over or be tilted in a bag. - The top has a bunch of crevices that’s very hard to clean while traveling and the mouth piece does get dirty. - When you sip from the water bottle it makes a squeaky noise which is not the end of the world but it is obnoxious and annoying. Unfortunately since this bottle does leak every day I use it I will only be using it while traveling and even so I may replace it so my belongings don’t get all wet. For this reason I do not recommend this product until they figure out a solution.

Best buy
Super durable, absolute must for travellers you can fill up water from sinks, bathrooms random taps, puddles and creeks everywhere used it for my travels. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Good Quality, design flaw
Leaks if turn upside down, hole to allowing sucking is just a hole, rubber that covers it allowing ease of drinking leaks everywhere if upside down or laid on side.

Good product.
Great product for use in the countryside to ensure water from streams is good to drink. Arrived on time and in good condition. Really useful as it means you don't have to carry lots of water with you as you can collect water along the way.

One of the best trekking companions
If you hike then it is a must buy for you. Take any stream water and drink without any worry. I have used it in my Buran Ghati Trek and it's an awesome product. Just go for it.
