Simply the Best - no not kidding... for something so simple !!
I have every brand of magnet tip holder. IMHO this one is simply the best. All the others are either too too short on the drill side & most impact drills can't grasp the end because the flange is in the way, Or the bit side is too deep - and you need pliers to take out the bit, or the bit side is too rough, gets jammed - & again need pliers to take out the bit... This is Both just long enough for it to stay in my Ryobi or Dewalt impact Drill, magnetic enough to keep the bit in, but smooth & shallow enough to not require pliers to remove & swap out a bit... Well Done Bosch, I'm buying more of these for all my tool boxes...

Exactly what I wanted. It's not bulky, doesn't have an annoying drive guide. Magnet is just strong enough to hold the bit.

Needs stronger magnet
Have a couple of magnetic bit holders and liked that this was small. Would be nice but the magnet is just too weak . It defeats the purpose of having a magnetic bit holder. Barely holds a screw on without falling off. I will stick with my De Walt although it is more bulky . the magnet is twice as strong at least.

hate to throw a wrench in the hater's story
Okay, hate to throw a wrench in the hater's story, but this little holder is just what it says it is. It's small and light and holds the bits just fine. The magnet is strong enough to hold screws in place without any problem. I needed a bit holder that was shorter than most to keep the tool as close to the work as possible and this thing did the job. I have since purchased several others.

Writing this review just so other may know. First off the product have rough edges similar to cheap one made in china. The magnet is very weak can not pick up small screws much less hold one, even without any bit inside. I was wondering why the magnet seem so weak comparing to other crappy one at hardware store. The reason, and deal breaker, the body and stem is made of non magnetic metal only the magnet inside is magnetic. You can not even magnetize it to increase the strength. My recommendation, buy the Wera sort stem 893/4/1 this one have a strong magnet. Home Depot also have one that is in the Ryobi impact bit kit. That one have good magnet too but you have to remove the outer sleeve to increase the strength, magnetize it will help also.

Material not as robust design as other hodlers.
The unit is made in China. The bit holder does not have "c"-retaining spring. The magnet is just strong enough to keep the bit in its place. The magnet is NOT designed to hold screw through the bit. The body itself is very light weight, and the wall in much thinner than other holders that I own. The holder seems too weak for heavy use.

This is exactly what I was looking for
No "Retaining Ring" to trap bits, requiring pliers to remove. Bits are held by a magnet on this one. Straight and precise. Not like the cheaper no-name branded stuff. The Bosch 11-inch is a tiny bit crooked, but acceptable. Biggest downside is cost, I'm surprised how expensive this is.

Inaccurate Length: Actually 2-3/8” Long
Bought specifically because it is supposed to be 2inches long (paid extra for this specific model). The total length of the bit is actually 2-3/8” long and does not work for my situation. Very annoying that a tool company is unable to use a tape measure. After several other issues recently with Bosch tools, I am losing faith in this brand.

This is better than most "no-name" holders
This is better than most "no-name" holders. The magnet holds the bits firmly in place, and the holder holds the bits without wiggle, while not being too tight to make it hard to change them. Nice machine-turned finish rather than the usual chrome plating. Solid build. I would definitely buy this model again if I lost it.
