Not as good on makita grinder
The lock nut doesn't reach with 24grit pads and is a soft material when grinding fiberglass it bends entirely too much. I would not buy this ever again.

Not a fan. Cheap quality and hard to use.
For my 4" grinder I have a similar product made by Diablo. This Bosch version for my 5" is cheap and more difficult to use. The plastic is thin and wears easily. There's a metal ring on the back of the backing pad, that popped out and bend when removing the backing pad from the grinder during first use. Also, removing the backing pad from the grinder was a bit of a struggle. While it slipped on fine, it seemed to have gotten stuck (even though I didn't use the grinder yet) and it took several minutes wiggling and working it off, after which there was already noticeable wear on the plastic. When adding the 5" 36grit fiber disk to the top of the backing pad, then attempting to screw on the lock nut, I was unable to get the nut to reach the grinders arbor threads. After quite a bit of work I was finally able to get it attached and tightened down as much as I could. I'll be picking up a different brand backing pad soon. Not happy at all with this one. My thought was a Bosch backing pad on a Bosch grinder would work well... not the case

I prefer this backing pad to others
Favorite backer so far its a little more flexible than the other one's ive tried. Its more of a rubber than hard plastic i find it easier to blend welds. If your looking for a harder plastic one i like the orange walter backer.
