Compatible with Craftsman 320.37595

My Craftsman 37595 (Purchased about 2 years ago) only came with a 1/4" chuck, and I thought I could add a 1/2" collet chuck (for larger, heavier duty router bits) later. Unfortunately I found that Sears Parts Direct and other vendors no longer carried them, and some chucks claiming to be OEM parts for Craftsman either didn't fit or didn't hold the bits securely. A British web site claimed that the Big Horn 19693 (Replacement for Bosch 2610906284 and several others) would also work on some Craftsman routers, but it didn't work with mine. I tried this Bosch next and I'm very happy with the results. It mates to the router perfectly and applies strong, even pressure to 1/2" shanks. Even the self-extraction feature works as it should. I can't speak for other recent Craftsman routers, but this Bosch works on the model listed above. If you undertake a similar search for your router, you should definitely test the functionality of the collet using a well-balanced 1/2" shank bit. A few short bursts of power should be tried first to make sure there are no fit issues between the router and the collet, and between the collet and the bit. Any vibration or loosening of the bit means you don't have a combination that should be allowed to run at full speed. Good luck finding the parts you need in order to get your project (or job) done.

Original one lasted 10 years

I’m basing this review on my original collet that came with my router when I bought it. It lasted over 10 years and never gave me issues. If this is a true OEM part and the quality is the same then I’m sure this will be a good collet.

Fits my OLD Craftsman!

Fit my old craftsman router that came with a small router table and a 1/4” collet chuck your only. This may be obvious to most of you, but if you’re doing the same be sure to get/use a speed controller.

BOSCH COLLETT

0 for warmth! 0 for thickness. Bought as a spare since new Bosch router collet looks pretty thin. Thin wall collets can crack easily. At 25,000 rpm it makes things pretty exciting especially spinning a big bit. The design is supposed to release the bit that can often get "stuck" in the router. Sometimes it does, sometimes not.

Adaptador bosch para brocas de corte de 1/2

Tengo un router Craftsman modelo 320.37595. Cuando lo compré solo venia el adaptador para brocas de 1/4. Craftsman ya no tiene en su catálogo el adaptador para brocas de 1/2. Buscando en Amazon encontré un adaptador de 1/2 para router Bosch y por las opiniones escritas me decidí a comprarlo y me sirvió a la perfeccion. Es totalmente compatible. Les anexo una imagen con los adaptadores juntos (1/4 y 1/2) y otra con el adaptador de 1/2 montado.

Fits Canadian Tire Maximum

Went to use my new Canadian Tire Maximum Model # 054-6810-8 with a 1/2" shank, and no collet. So I came here. Got the 1/2" and the 3/8" while I was at it. Less that 24 hours later, they arrived, and fit! Hope this helps

Photo image is wrong

Haven't used it yet, but it should fit. Giving only 3 stars because the listed photo does not match with the actual product. The photo must be for the 1/4" collet size as the inner metal has a very thick configuration, but the 1/2" collet that arrived is different, with a much thinner wall. However, that is the correct size.

BOSCH Nut and collet are good quality

Nut and collet are as show in the product description, as is the packaging. It has already been mentioned in other reviews, but I can endorse, that this nut and collet will fit a Craftsman model number 320.37595. Very happy with my purchase, worth the money paid.

It's a peace of garbage

The picture shows its a thick collet but its a thin collet wasted my money ????. The router bit is so loose if you hold the collet up side down the bit will fall right off. Busch socks will never buy their products again
