Perfect for travel

Although I haven't used the bag yet, it's what I was looking for. I believe it will last well. It seems sturdy and seams seem to be strong. I think it will have some water resistance. It folds easily. I bought it to keep in my suitcase in case I have items I purchase and don't have room to bring them home. Then I will use this as a carry on. My only complaint, as others have noted, is that the straps are rather short. They certainly won't work as over the shoulder straps. But they will work as straps to carry the bag in your hand or to attach the bag to your suitcase such as in the airport. A little overpriced but happy with the purchase.

Durable and compact, but not lockable

Tote seems sturdy and packs to a small size. I also like how the pack pouch turns into a Velcro pocket inside when the bag is expanded. My only issue is that I got this as a potential check in bag and didn’t realize that there is just a single top zipper, so there isn’t a way to attach a lock (zipper to zipper). I believe the duffel has two zippers so a travel lock can be attached. Otherwise, it’s an awesome bag!

too expensive

Too expensive for the few features it has, and the construction. I looked at many bags and got same quality for less, buying other bags. Perhaps this is an outstanding bag but it didn't have the feel, it felt thin and had no pockets.

Perfect under seat bag

Perfect size. Holds a lot but leaves room for my feet on a long flight. Packed it with my small crossbody purse,book, iPad, cables, snacks, travel pillow, rain jacket, scarf, gloves, small compression bag with change of clothes TSA, liquids bag and travel towel for flight. Took a 4 day trip with 1x large compression bag, 2x1 quart toiletries bags, 2 pairs shoes,, jacket, travel towel, iPad, cables, sweater, umbrella, scarf. Looped handles twice over rolling bag orcarried on shoulder easily.

Compact! and opens to large swim bag!

Great design for compact to large. I just have too many beach bags and wanted an under the seat stuff tote for the plane. I'll bring my own junky plastic bags for swim gear but this thing is very classy and well made!

Best foldaway tote

I wasn't sure I would like this bay and instead LOVE it. It's durable. It holds a lot. You can machine was it. Highly recommend.

Excellent, discreet extra carry-on bag.

Was looking for a reasonably sized, nondescript packable tote bag with a top zipper for airline travel. Something to put some of the stuff I bought and the few things I'll need on the plane, that won't call attention to itself while boarding. This is it. Folds down into a fairly flat pack that disappears in my travel backpack. If I need it, great. If not, I barely notice it. The deep purple/blue color is nice. The external pockets are good. The only real downside is that the straps are a bit short, but still usable. Definitely a worthy purchase!

Appreciated Gift

This was purchased as a gift. It was sent to the recipient directly. So, I can't personally speak to quality of materials or craftsmanship. However, it is Samsonite. My friend, who I purchased this for, says it's perfect for her and loves it.

Lightweight & holds a lot BUT straps are too short

In theory, I love the idea of a lightweight, foldable bag. "Hmm, perfect to stash in a purse or suitcase for convenient extra carrying space," I thought before ordering. BUT the designer messed up one important detail -- the straps are at least 3 inches too short. Empty, the bag just barely fits over my shoulder. Full (and this bag holds a lot, enough for a weekend), it's no go. But when I'm traveling, I really don't need one more thing to hold onto.
