The only reason this thing has anything other than one stars because this happened to be the second one that I ordered, and the first one that I got a couple of days ago was absolutely adorable. So adorable, in fact, that I decided order the second one that I’m writing the review on now. Needless to say, was very happy to receive this one today (My Boxer has a bunch of toys and I wanted one both upstairs & downstairs). And then I remove the product from the box. First, I thought it was a little weird that for some reason it was difficult to unlatch… Remember the first one that I received being extremely easy to open and close (which was great because I could now rain my boxer to open it herself). And the, after opening the lid, I noticed that it is completely destroyed. The entire right side of it is completely crushed in on the bottom, and the curves of the bone are completely warped. The kicker is, the box is 100% undamaged. Obviously, this is an issue with quality control. Obviously, no one thought that was a good idea to maybe not put the incredibly deformed product into a box and ship it to a client, and I would be wasting my time because now I have to return it. I will be asking for a product replacement, and hopefully they actually have some decent sense about them and don’t send me another completely useless product. Honestly, I’m just happy that this wasn’t my first purchase because if it was, I would’ve not asked for a product replacement and asked for a refund instead. It’s not even like the damage is difficult to see… The bottom is so warped that it literally comes up a good 4 - 5 inches. Generally speaking, I’m usually pretty forgiving when it comes to small disfigurements or imperfections… But this is something that I literally cannot except. Not only is it cosmetically ruined, it also makes me lose a pretty good amount of storage because of the severe warped bottom.

Holds a lot and so cute

This is more exciting than I thought, so cute and I did buy the large one and so happy I did. I'm in love with this toy box. BUY ONE

Cute, but maybe not worth it

First, my item arrived in perfect condition. I was concerned from previous reviews that that may be an issue, but it wasn't. My clasp and strap was also fine, but I can see that if you load a ton into the box, it'd probably rip. The box itself is adorable. I got the large, which really isn't that.... Large. But for my needs, it's fine! It's definitely flimsier than I thought it'd be, but honestly it's so cute I'm going to keep it. It's made of plastic and feels plasticy, but looks really nice. I probably wouldn't repurchase, but I'm happy with it for now.

Love it

Received this today & I absolutely love it! I was hesitant to order one due to some reviews stating item was warped/damaged upon arrival, had a waxy feel, or the strap broke off right away.. Ours arrived in perfect condition & doesn't have a waxy feel. The dogs sniffed it over (really good) once we put their toys inside but they didn't try biting at it or anything like that. If the strap breaks (which would probably be easy to do) it won't be an issue for us because we don't intend on closing it & securing it with the latch. We ordered a large & when I opened it, I thought it was going to be bigger than needed but it's actually the right size for the amount of toys our 3 dogs have (with room for more). We have 2 Bostons & a Great Dane so our toy selection varies from small to extra large sized items. The rawhide bone laying inside is 24" length bone, so that might give you an idea of how roomy a Large basket actually is. Overall, I would take a shot on this item if you like the look of it. We paid full price for this item & did not get a discount for our review.

Love the product

I love the product but there is a design flaw. I received on 6/5/17 and on or about 9/10/17 the leather strap that holds the top of the basket on tore from the clasp so now it is only attached by one strap. This is something that is used daily and there are only adults in the house so there was no unnecessary roughness or carelessness with handling. For this reason I don't feel that normal wear and tear should result in this breakage. With the new 30 day return policy it took a little convincing for me to receive an authorization to exchange the item. I understand a full refund request being limited to 30 days but an exchange for a defect in just over 90 days is not unreasonable to me. The product would have received 5 stars as a result of me loving it and Amazon working with me to satisfy my request but I felt the design flaw did not warrant 5 stars.

Looks nicer than other toy chests

Will need a well trained dog to not destroy it, but looks nice. The large size is good for us, as we’ve bought lots of toys.

Pet storeaged

It is very cute. Cats love sleeping in it. Had to do some repairs to the basket when I received itl, some of the weaves were cut short and needed to be hot glued. Otherwise pleased

Stylish, durable, holds a lot!

Love this basket - super cute - built to last (just don’t mess with the clasp a whole lot - it’s not nearly as sturdy as the basket itself)! We have had it for over a month and go into it daily; we keep our cat and dog’s treats and supplies in there. It holds quite a bit! Looks way more attractive than a plastic container, which is the main reason I bought it. Recommended!
