A light jacket for layering.

It was great with light rain, but as it has a ribbed collar and cuffs and no hood, this wouldn’t be good in heavy rain. The sizing wasn’t right for me. I got a 4x as I like my outerwear to accommodate lots of layers, but I should have ordered a 3x instead. The cropped design didn’t work for me as the hem of it fell to my hips. It does have strings on the side with toggles to gather the bottom of the coat to give it a rounder shape and keep heat in. It’s not super warm, but again with layers, it should be fine. If you’re hoping the sides pockets will keep your hands warm, you will be disappointed. They are not insulated. The jacket closes with snaps instead of a zipper. The white one I own is a light cream color which I like. It’s lightweight and comfortable to wear, and I have gotten compliments on it.

Very puffy

To start, I LOVE the color of this coral pink coat. It does come out darker in the photos than in person, but in person is a bit deeper color than in the Amazon photos lol so think midline between my pics and amazons. The buttons work great and the fabric is soft, comfy, great quality. It is however not joking about being a puffer jacket, I’m a little nervous that it’s so puffy that it just makes me look huge on top especially since it puffs out in all directions and even on the arms. Overall still cute though I think. I would say it runs a bit big. I’m currently between a medium and large at 5’5 150lbs, and ordered a medium based on the sizing guide even though I usually size up to large for a looser fit and to be able to wear clothing or sweaters under a jacket. However the medium as you can see not only fits well but even a little loose. So if you’re between sizes I’d definitely size down, and perhaps consider sizing down regardless or referencing the size guide.

Great construction and excellent fit

As you might notice in my photos, I have a sewing studio. So naturally, I’m very critical when it comes to buying clothing. This bomber jacket does not disappoint! The construction is excellent, as are the materials. Normally I can find one or two parts of a garment that leave me unhappy; not this one. Straight stitching, secure snaps on the button closure and pockets, as well as securely sewn cuffs. The fabric is soft to the touch and wears well. I should also mention this jacket is WARM! If you’re always cold, like me, you need this. There are also elastic pulls in the bottom for synching the waist if you desire. Fashionably speaking, I get lots of compliments on this jacket. It’s made a perfect transition piece for the seasons changing in the PNW. I am considering ordering in the other colors, that’s how much I’ve enjoyed it so far.

Love it, but...

I love this jacket. Simply love it. My one issue is that as a plus-size woman I find the jacket to be way too short. It barely comes to my waistline (and trust me, the jacket fits fantastically). I prefer a little more coverage below my waist. This is a personal preference, and maybe others wouldn't be bothered by this. However, if there was even 2-3 inches more in length, this would be a go-to jacket for me.

Very comfortable

This coat is so soft and so warm. My daughter wants another one. I like how the neck area is like a soft silk-cotton mixture. My daughter has sensitive skin and this doesn't cause a rash like many other coats have. This is good for cold autumn days or cold spring days. I love how this is an Amazon brand coat. Amazon is very consistent with sizing and it's so easy to order clothing by the Amazon brand. Washing this coat on the gentle cycle is recommended as is drying the coat on low heat. This green is a true sage and not dulled down with a gray tint. I thought the short length of this coat would be annoying for my daughter but she actually likes it because it doesn't bunch and bulk up like normal coats do. I'll be ordering more of these in the future.

Good Quality Jacket

The jacket is really nicely made. It feels really soft and comfortable when worn. There wasn't a proper sizing chart for me to determine what size I am. I'm usually a medium in shirts and the recommended size for me is also a medium so I went with that, but it's pretty big. I'm 5' 145lbs 38-32-40 and it fits kind of baggy on me, the arms and length were a little long. My husband is a men's M and it fit him perfectly (he's 5'8"). I would definitely recommend the item, but if I were to purchase for myself again I would size down.

Lovely, But Too Puffy

This is a lovely jacket. I ordered one in coral and that color Is gorgeous. The jacket snaps in front, and so do the side pockets. It also comes with two drawstrings on the bottom for a snugger fit. It’s also very soft and made of recycled materials which I highly approve. Although I loved the puffiness, it has too much padding, and so is not as flattering to those of us with a heftier silhouette compared to a taller and more slender person. Even so, I love the softness, how comfy it is, and the color so those features far override my feeling like a walking pillow.

Expected to look like a pumpkin

The jacket is as advertised and also is made of quality material. I like the green color, a minty or sage color, very springy. The whole jacket is quite puffy. While it keeps you warm, it is unnecessarily puffy. I'll prefer a lighter filling and wear it on a 60 degree day. It is too puffy for warm days and not warm enough for colder days when you may want a longer coat with better insulation. The particular design works best as how the model wears it: casual look with a light sweater underneath and tight yoga pants. You probably don't want to zip up as it'll definitely make you look like a pumpkin. There is no clear neckline and waistline. It is a good jacket but not easy to wear it well.
