So much better than a tea kettle

I don’t know how I ever lived without this. I boil water several times a day, and this makes life so easy. I had ordered a different brand and sent it back because it was cheap and made of plastic and smell terrible. This one was absolutely perfect. Made of stainless steel and everything about it is easy. I highly recommend it to anyone.

Nice Kettle but not Insulated

RE: Chef'sChoice 673 Cordless Compact Electric Kettle This is a smaller kettle than some but for me, it's easy to hold because of its squatty shape and size. It is metal so the outside will get very hot to the touch but the heat escapes quickly since it's not double walled so if you come back for a second cuppa after a few minutes time, you'll probably want to boil the kettle again. I like the red color but the paint flakes off around the top and after a while begins looking all grungy. I don't know if that's due to the build-up of calcium from the hard water, repeated exposure to steam, or the mild surface cleaner I use. The mesh filter seems to dissolve and break away from the plastic frame after a short while too. I've had this kettle for 5 years and just recently came back to Amazon to re-purchase the same again. If this one lasts me 5 years, I suppose I'll be happy.

I have this kettle in red and using it already for 7 years, works perfectly, even bought another one for a friend and they love it. Perfect!!

Love love love this

I love hot tea but hate waiting for water to get hot enough. This is fast and looks great sitting on my counter. This is fast and turns itself off when it's hot enough and I don't worry about it overheating. Did I mention how fast it is?lol

Great kettle that heats up fast.

I bought this for heating a fresh cop of water for a cup of tea. Heats really fast. It doesn’t take up too much room on the counter top.

Great for iced tea

I bought this to boil water for iced tea. it heats quickly. Then I put the tea bags in to steep. it is easy to clean. I have used it about 20 times and no problems.
