XL - didnt fit well per size chart

I ordered the XL based on size chart- my waist and hips are dead on for what they show for XL, but these were too tight for me. I am long waisted so that might have been part of the problem. I returned them. But they were very nice looking and good quality, so I would say order a size up and see. I couldn't do that because there wasn't an XXL option on this item that I found.

The boardshort I have been looking for

I've been wearing the same pair of board shorts since 2010, and hadn't found a suitable replacement (even in actual surf shops). This year, with the addition of prime wardrobe, I was able to try on a few while I was stuck at home. I'm so glad I didn't give up after the other brands didn't work out for me. These are so comfortable! They are more fitted than the product photos suggest but they had a slight stretch and I fit into my usual size. The 8" length covers my thigh tattoo for protection from the sun. I wish they had more prints and colors because I would buy them in every color and size just to have variety in my swimsuit collection!

Low riders

I ordered small because I wanted it to fit just below the belly button and my waist is 27 inches, I probably could have worn the extra small but the inseam would not allow it to sit as high as I want. If you order, pay attention to the hip measurements, the shorts stayed just above needing to shave but might tug lower when wet. My hips are 36 inches at the fullest, the shorts were well below the top of my hip bones. The material is light but nice quality and texture, slightly stretchy for comfort.

Not a perfect fit.

Super comfortable, great material. I ordered 1 size up, as I usually do in board shorts. But I got my usual problem too... shorts we’re too big in the waist. I would have had to alter them to get them to stay on in water. I decided to send them back. *They did fit my 16 week pregnant sister perfectly and she’s my same size normally.

LOVE these shorts

I LOVE these shorts. I bought them for paddle boarding, but need to order more since I wear them all the time of the board too. I normally wear a 6 and the Medium was perfect.

Good quality but run small

I ordered a large (for size 12) and they were too small. XL probably would work or XXL if you like shorts a little loose. I ended up returning the shorts.

Fit big, so maybe go down a size?

I like them, but they're a bit too big. They fit low (like all board shorts) and I normally wear a size 4-6, but have larger thighs and butt, and they were plenty roomy. Won't bother to return, but wish I'd bought a small.

Light weight & quick dry swim shorts

This fits about one size too big. They are great swim shorts. Both Velcro and tie up at the front. Super comfortable and quick dry. Nice light weight material .
