Great buy fir the price

I liked how fast it came, it does come with socks that add to the comfort of the over fin, but they are a but snug. Fits great in my tail and is slightly larger than fun fun monofin

To Each Their Own

The monofin is great and could definitely work for beginners. I had issues with the socket because I have flat feet and my foot cramped up very quickly, so for those with flat feet or cramps, beware.

Parents, no your child’s swimming level before you purchase this.

PARENTS! Hi. I hope I got your attention with the title. Before you read further, please know that I have been in the mermaid industry for many years now. Also saying, this is a positive review. I absolutely love this mono fin. As someone who has been a professional mermaid, and uses this mono fin, I would just like to say to you, that this mono fin is a little more difficult to use and to get out of that than other monofins for children. Please, please, please know the proper safety and handling around this mono fin, and ensure that your children have a proficient/expert swim level before you allow them to use this. Water safety, especially with monofins or anything mermaid related, it’s something we take very seriously. It always breaks my heart when we hear people leave negative reviews about our community, due to a poor experience with products such as mermaid tails, or the mono fin. I will get off my soapbox now. This Marathon is great. I will say, that it does take a little bit of time to get in and out of, due to the straps. I’m aware that the straps do have quite a nasty habit of breaking/snapping when being used. I, fortunately, have not had this experience thus far. Since this model phone is made of vinyl, and not silicone, it does bend quite easily, and retains that shape. Causing for warping in the actual mono fin itself. This can be caused by several factors. It does not affect the overall performance of the mono fin, at least not to noticeably for beginners, I do notice a slightly different drag when using the model Finn alone, and not inserting it into my actual mermaid tails itself.

Ordered based on professional recomendations and its been amazing.

I have been in chronic back pain for about 7 months now and my Doctor reccomended I find a way to make excersizing just a little more fun for myself because my mental health has been completely ravaged my by experiences. So I started thinking well, I always wanted to have one of those mertails, the big fancy ones that make you feel like a mer. I'm a little big for those (waistwise) so instead I started watching some videos that would encourage me to spend more time in the water and a few of them where seamstress mermaid and mermaid Courtney and nerdmaid faith who all reccomended this one as an amazing started monofin for people who where thinking about the possibility of professionalizing on it but where still on a budget. I was originally going to get the fin fun because it was cheaper (before the new one that is similar to this one came out) but I went with this one based on their reviews and the fluke shape which was meant for faster kicks. So far both I and my sister are happy with this one and she will be purchasing her own asap! Thank you so much!

Closest thing to being a mermaid!

The media could not be loaded. I’ve wanted a monofin since last summer and I’m so happy I ordered this one in July. I did my research and chose this one based on the reviews and I also wanted the aqua color because it looks like mermaid tail from the water. I swim in the ocean everyday, not a pool. I do not use a fabric mermaid tail with this (yet). I have used this everyday since mid July and it’s my favorite fin to use. I also use regular diving fins but the monofin gives you a different workout, it’s especially great for your core! I am very tall and have size 10 feet, so I find that the booties that come with it make the fit too snug for me. To the point where the monofin was uncomfortable to use. So I ditched the neoprene booties and the fin was perfect! I’m fine without them and the fin doesn’t hurt my feet. I use the booties for other flippers that are too roomy. To get the monofin on, I sit at the water’s edge and slide both feet in and then secure the buckles on each side. Once the buckles are adjusted to fit your feet, they are hard to make looser so keep this in mind as you tighten them to your feet. I guess this is a good thing cause they really stay put in the water when you are swimming! After I’ve got the fin on, I scoot myself into the ocean. I posted a video showing this to those of you who plan to use this at the beach and make your way into the water from the shore. This is as close to a mermaid that I’ve gotten yet. When people on the beach see me swimming they always shout “mermaid, mermaid!!!” It’s one of the best things I’ve ordered from amazon! It seems very durable. I rinse it out after each use. If you’re Dream is to swim like a mermaid, the Mermaid Linden Monofin is for you.

Good Beginning Monofin

I purchased this product as an entry level monfin. For that purpose, it does the trick. The fin performs well enough to get a good feeling for movement and develop a full body undulation. Single breath, full laps when submerged are easy given the speed the fin produces. I am rating it a 2/5 for durability because one of the straps broke the first time I used it. The strap has a ring shape on the end and that separated on the first pull. I was not using excessive force. Having learned better, I now just tighten them by grasping the main body of the strap. I am rating it a 3/5 for comfort. They did a nice job of including a "very" inexpensive pair of neoprene booties that allows them to fit my 10Yo son easily. Without the booties they also fit my 13yo son. My 16yo son wears an 11 but has an issue with the fin staying strapped and the compression is uncomfortable after a short while. Although it states US men's 6 - 11, the foot pockets seem a bit small. My summary, If you want to try out a monofin without spending several hundred on a higher grade fin, then this fits the bill. If they could work out the strap issue and make the straps replaceable they could achieve more sales due to a secondary related product and solve an issue with the fins.

I've trained in this monofin and its is fantastic and really easy to get out of in an emergency. I get great propulsion and looks amazing in a finfun tail skin.

Top Monoflosse

Die Farbgebung der Monoflosse ist wie üblich Geschmackssache, ich mag es. Die Flosse passt gut. Beigelegt sind noch Neopren Socken, wenn man im unteren Bereich der angegebenen Schuhgrößen ist. Außerdem ist in den Socken ein Kunststoffgitter untergebracht, durch welches die Form der Fußtaschen gehalten wird. Um den verstellbaren Fußriemen ist ein Neopren Polster angebracht, welches im Versenbereich schön bequem sitzt. Die Flosse ist nach meinem Empfinden sehr bequem und bietet ein gutes Verhältnis von Kraft zu Vortrieb. Also entweder nutzt man normale Kraft und kommt schnell voran oder man gleitet bei geringem Kraftaufwand durchs Wasser. Die Monoflosse ist recht fest, was aber durch das Kunststoffblatt nicht verwunderlich ist. Zu guter Letzt ist eine Tasche dabei (welche quasi die Verpackung ist) die als Rucksack genutzt werden kann. Eine Seite ist Mash die andere Seite Kunststofffolie. Nachtrag: Die Flosse ist gut geeignet, wenn die Füße eher schmal und lang sind. Wir haben feststellen können, dass die Flosse für Füße die eher breiter sind in den Fußtaschen zu eng und am Versenband zu weit sind.

One step up from a Finfun, but not the best.

The media could not be loaded. Bought this fin to use at work when I teach mermaid swimming lessons. It fits well even though I have small size 6 feet. The neoprene socks that come with it are very comfortable. The fin provides excellent propulsion when swimming, but because it is so stiff it it not a stable when swimming (it wobbles and is more difficult to keep straight) and doesn't look as aesthetically pleasing. It also gives me bad foot cramps, which I have never had with any other monofin. It is cheaper and very similar in size to my Mahina monofin, but I definitely prefer the Mahina in terms of aesthetics and stability when swimming. One step up from a Finfun, but not the best monofin in existence It fits tightly inside the Finfun tailskin I use for work, but I will probably buy a Mertailor Guppy tailskin for it that will fit better.

Most comfortable fin I've ever owned.

It's amazing and the most comfortable fin I've ever owned. "Here's why." I have an old injury that damaged the circulation in one leg, making it prone to swell on hot days by around half a shoe size. Because of the foot pocket design I could swim for hours and never feel any discomfort. No pinching, cramping or tightness in my feet where as the freediving fins I have I couldn't wear for more then 10 minutes. Also the efficiency of energy use in this monofin was crazy!!! It was wonderful and I'm truly hooked. Thanks Linden for giving me some zoom in my life. ❤️❤️❤️
