Great shoes for walking riverbeds and swimming. Sharp rocks are no problem
I bought these shoes to replace a pair of water shoes that were starting to deteriorate and were really uncomfortable. It took an hour or so of having these on until I got used to the 3 toe pockets. Initially I was concerned they wouldn't fit my toes. My second toe is longer than my big toe, then the last 3 are all much shorter and sort of curl under. Was not a problem with these shoes and once you get used to the feeling of the material between your first 3 toes they are pretty comfy. There is a velcro strap over the instep, as well as a cinch strap behind the heel, so you can get these pretty well adjusted to your feet. I liked the adjustments, since most water shoes I have had in the past never seem to fit well. These are MUCH wider than a normal "shoe" style shoe. I found it to be a big help in the water. The wider toe-box offset the disadvantage of swimming in water with shoes on- the shape ends up being almost like a mini fin. I could swim as good or better than if I had been barefoot. I have a 4 and 5 year old that wear life preservers and I swim around with. With these shoes on there were no problems keeping up with them (or treading water when they were trying to drown me). They also did fairly well walking along the riverbank and river bottoms. The area I am in has a lot of flint, and flakes can be razor sharp (this is the stuff arrowheads were made of). The sole protected me from any cuts or scrapes and I had no issues stepping on branches or with thorns. The shoes are more of a barefoot style- the soles are extremely flexible and don't really provide any support. If you are unaccustomed to the this type of shoe and want to use them for anything other than swimming you may need a transitional period. When you step on an object (rock, tree branch, etc.) the shoe is going to flex around it. You will feel the edges and points of the object. It won't penetrate the shoe, but if you are on uneven terrain (such as a rock riverbed) your feet may get sore after awhile. I prefer to go barefoot and wear this style shoe so I had no issues with it, but something to be aware of. If you are on sandy beaches, mostly in a kayak, or swimming, this won't be as much of an issue. Bottom Line- These were exactly what I needed in a water shoe for river use and when these are worn out I will buy the same model as replacements.

Awesome for exploring tropical beaches
These are a MUST for exploring beaches with changing terrain. Tough sole really grips boulders where flip flops or water socks fail. Took them to the Bahamas and wore them on coral, sand, swimming, snorkeling, and cleaned them easily for our next adventure.

Purchased but not worn
I purchased these at a great price but have only had the opportunity to wear around the house at this time. They seem to be exactly what I am looking for…

the Hubby loves these!
These fit perfectly and he says they are very comfortable! No "breaking them in" which is very nice. We wouldn't hesitate to purchase again! Good quality material, they don't slip on wet surfaces and fit as expected!

Good shoes if a bit wide.
I added a photo to show how wide they are. I probably have a half inch or so of space from my little toe to the outside edge of the shoe. I usually buy a 9 which usually gets me something that fits and is rarely too small. In this case, a 9 is right to the end of my big toe. My foot is not wide, but not thin either. I have had shoes that are not wide enough, but I never have to buy a "wide" version of any shoe. it does not affect comfort or usability in dry conditions. My only concern will be if that matters in the water. I have not used these in the water yet. I expect them to be great, but if they are not, I'll update this review. What I love most about these is the adjustability. It has a strap up front and a tie in the back that should allow you to snug these up as much as you wish to.

They do break-in, but...add half sizes.
First time putting them on, they left a bit of annoyance/pain just above my foot. After taking them off and pulling around the edge ( where the drawstring is ) streached out a little, they were a lot more comfy. Nornally, I wear 12.5 so I bought a size 12. For me, my big-toe is right up to the edge. The rest of my toes half fill the slots, tons of extra space ( people have many styles of toe length ). So while the big-toe says these are just a hair small, the other toes say way too spacious. 13 would have been far too large. However. They did their job. I wore them for 2 days at a waterpark, >20K steps amongst both days and my feet weren't chewed up for once due to the park's concrete. So, in the end these did work and I would wear them again. I just wish they had half sizes.

Buenas pero no contra arena
Muy cómodas y buenas pero al or a la playa se te mete toda la arena y es bastante difícil sacarla. No recomendable para playa o mar
