fits weed trimmer
Works well. But tends to melt together in spots. Have to remove to pull apart. I am guessing it's the choose of material used to manufacture this product.

Very Consistent!
I have bought this product for several years because of the electric GreenWorks weed eater I have lasting over 11 years and it works every time without fail. But anyway this seller and this string line product have been here forever with very consistent quality and excellent delivery.

installing it properly is the key
make sure you use the snaps to hold the line in place so it can feed trimmer properly. If you do, it works great , if you don't you'll be out of line in no time.

Easier than manually installing cords
Replacing the trimmer line spool is can be a bit of a challenge. Removing the old spool is fairly straight forward and easy. Putting the new one back in should be. However, on trying to replace the new spool the prewound cord had a tendency to fly off the spool. Since there are actually two lines, there are two lines misbehaving. Don't unlodge the lines until the spool has been replaced, then undo the ends and feed them one at a time. It took longer to rearrange the lines than to replace the spool. Even given this problem, it is probably easier to replace the loaded spools than to try to reload the two line although a bit more expensive than buying bulk line. Update: I have now used all three spools and the replacements are not available as noted in the other review. The spools go quite quickly because of the two lines being used at the same time.

Crabgrass is sleeping with the fishes.
OH! Marone! My yard looks terrible! Gave my guy Jimmy the Gardener the hardware and he took care of it. Nuff said.

In the end, only Greenworks line works in their trimmers
We had nothing but problems with trying to wind replacement line on the original Greenworks hub. Despite using name-brand .065 line, the line would bind up in the Greenworks hub and refuse to feed. We struggled with this far too long (my son almost threw away the trimmer he was so frustrated). As a last attempt, I ordered the pre-wound Greenworks replacement hubs and everything is back to normal and the line feeds out properly. So, if you want to save yourself the headache you'll have to order the Greenworks pre-wound replacement hubs. Aftermarket line may not work in this finicky trimmer.

Convenient and easier than tryng to wind new line on spool.
I dont use a lot of string, so this product is much more convenient and easier than trying to wind new line on a spool. Invariably, I can't get it to work. The line unwinds and tangles or I put it on wrong and it won't feed. These spools are ready to go, just take the cap off your Greenworks trimmer spool hub, and pull the spool out, then pop the new one in, after unhooking the lines from their carry positions, feed them through the holes and you are ready to go! A spool lasts me about a season, so these three spools will last me three years. Yes, they are more expensive than just buying a 1000 feet of line, but they are much more convenient and easy to use!

Greenworks site says this will work with the 40v tirmmer
This does not work with the greenworks 40v 12 inch trimmer. Greenworks site says it will, the spool is 1/4 inch bigger than the ones that come with the trimmer. Tried moving the string over to the smaller spool, caused my trimmer to jam so badly that I had to dissemble it to fix. Doubt I will be buying another greenworks product after this experience.

Didn't fit in our weed whacker
This appeared to be the right choice for our weed whacker according to the search conducted to find replacement string. It did bit fit, so we had to take the string off this spool and add it to an old one. Did not match specifications

Buen producto
No es muy preciso en los modelos a utilizar y/o en automático te aparece como sugerencia de compra pero al final resulta no ser el modelo para el equipo.
