Very good "cheap" pan
I have a number of nicer name brand cookware but prefer having something cheap that I just toss in the dishwasher when done. Normally I just go to Ollies or some place like that to find whatever's on sale but decided to give one of these a shot. Upon arrival, it was in a paper envelope. I opened the package expecting to find it all bent up but I was pleasantly surprised. No bends, dents or scratches. Into the dishwasher it went and then I gave it a shot. As per the norm with new non-stick pans, everything simply glided on the surface. I did cook with a bit of oil but absolutely nothing stuck to the pan. Once finished, I wiped it out and it might as well have been called clean. Time will tell how it holds up but thus far it seems as good as advertised. Now, one of the first disadvantages I noticed was the handle. Compared to some of my other cheap ones, it does have a great feel (as does the entire pan). However, being hollow, it heats up very quickly on my gas stove. Not a deal breaker but something to be mindful of as even my other cheapo pans wouldn't heat up as quickly as this one. I'm very pleased with this pan thus far and interested to see how long the non stick properties last. I'll update if it quickly wears out but for the price, I'd be willing to replace it every couple years or so!

Yes, it is properly non-stick. But you need basic cooking skills.
I bought this pan because it's pretty cheap and has a ceramic non-stick coating. There are basically two types of non-stick coatings - Teflon (PTFE) and ceramic. While there are often differences between pans beyond the two coatings (weight, heat distribution, etc.), in terms of the properties inherent to the coatings themselves, all pans with each respective coating are going to perform similarly. That means Teflon pans are going to be the most non-stick but they're also not oven or dishwasher-safe, and some people worry about health concerns if the coating wears or flakes off. Ceramic coated pans are usually oven safe (unless the handle isn't) and dishwasher safe too. This pan is both. But you compromise a tiny bit on the non-stick properties. I've seen reviews here, on YouTube and even on major TV channels that suggest this pan is not very non-stick. I've even seen it fail the egg test completely, with people somehow getting eggs stuck to the pan. I'm here to tell you that if this happens, it's your fault. Learn how to cook eggs. No pan is going to turn a bad cook into a good one. Go watch some old episodes of "How to Boil Water" on Food Network and learn the basics. I've cooked sunny side up eggs in this pan with no oil and they just slide right out. No residue left in the pan, no jiggling necessary, nothing. You need to use medium heat and you need to let the egg cook until it's done. All of the video reviews I've seen where the egg sticks are from people who are trying to release uncooked eggs. Why would you even do that? You shouldn't be eating uncooked eggs, at least in the United States. The most likely answer is that these people have the heat turned up too high, so they're worried about the bottom burning while the top is still raw. Just use medium heat and leave it until the egg is done and the egg will slide right out. Non-stick pans are best for delicate foods cooked on low to medium heat. It takes longer to cook food that way, but it'll release just fine when it's done, from basically any non-stick pan. If you want to sear stuff, or cook things fast, this is not the pan for you - no non-stick pan is. I also cook with both stainless steel and cast iron - all of these pans have their specialties. I still use stainless steel about 80% of the time - it's probably the most versatile of all modern cookware. Cast iron is great for getting a really good sear, cooking over high heat for short periods of time or if you need the most even heating. But non-stick is for delicate foods cooked over low-ish heat for a longer amount of time. That's when you'll get food that just slides off, and it'll keep the surface intact for longer. (Don't pay too much for a non-stick pan; none of them last more than a few years.) I think this is a really good pan for the price, especially when you add the lid. Some pans cost almost double if you include the lid; this one's just a few dollars more. It's a good value.

$14ish on sale? Awesome! Not For Every Type of Cooking Though
My partner and I had been using non-stick pans that were well beyond damaged and undoubtedly increasing our chances of serious health consequences each time we used them. The one we used most started to smell like burning plastic... yikes. Anyway, after obsessively researching, I ordered this one. Someone in the reviews taught me what is the most important thing about these pans. This being: they are not meant for high-heat cooking. Medium at hottest. I basically just use this little 8" pan to cook over-easy eggs, pancakes, and reheat rice to make fried rice. I also still have to use oil, but not a ton like with my cast-iron skillet. I'm super gentle with cleaning this pan. It's only been 5 weeks of not-so-heavy usage, but for the price combined with actually now knowing how to care for it and properly use it, I would absolutely recommend this.

Great non -Teflon option
I cook a lot but wanted something less toxic than Teflon for a non-stick skillet. Did some research and the material used for this seemed like a good option. The pan is great. It's held up well, no sticking so far, easy to clean, and looks great. I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking for something that's more sound environmentally and for health concerns than the forever chemicals in Teflon.

My new fave
The BLUE DIAMOND and RED DIAMOND line of cookware is surprisingly fantastic! We have purchased much more expensive skillets, but these are truly wonderful. The surface is nonstick without the chemicals that Teflon and the others have. They clean very easily, and can go into the dishwasher without messing up the nonstick factor. Love these pans!

only budget priced pan with no PFFE's but only 1 annoying issue
Excellent food release ... heats quickly…but inside heating surface is no flat... high in center and low toward outside edge. I like to use Quality Olive Oil and connects toward 2 " circumference near outside edge, and have to redistribute it before adding cooking ingredients Cleans in a snap and doesn't complain or buckle when drowing it in tap cold water after use.

Great frying pan
I bought this pan a few months ago and its held up great so far, no scratches or other issues with it. It cooks food quick and easy with no sticking. Holding up just as good as that other more expensive brand I bought.

Food does not stick!
Love this skillet. We have cooked so many things in it and the food comes right out...NO STICKING. The pan seems to distribute heat evenly on my burners that work right. I bought this skillet to bake a Dutch Baby in, works perfectly. I would say if you want a nonstick pan this is the one for you...go for it!

Good product, not perfect
After 3 months of use, there are small chips and flakes on the edge of the pan. You know the top edge of the pan that surrounds the cooking surface? Otherwise, it's easy to clean and is very easy to cook on. Scrambled eggs have never been so care-free.

Great pan
What a great pan. Coming from a chef this pan works amazing, beats well, cleans well and food just slides in it. I have been using mine for 5 months with use everyday and quality hasn’t dropped.

Good investment
I have 3 Blue Diamond pans of different size, never been happier with my purchases. Their conditions are like new despite regular usage. Best part is that I don’t have to cook with high heat, eggs and salmon skin never stick with just a spritz of almond oil when heating the pans. Low maintenance with no scrubbing, clean beautifully with a sponge or soft cloth. Highly recommended

So far good
I really like this pan I purchased the smaller pan just to try it out. Overall I am very pleased and I have been using the small pan for about a month and it works great , no sticking , no staining , no peeling. Because my experience with the small pan has been favourable I am likely going to proceed purchase the large pan.
