Very nice sneaker like dance shoes

Very nice sneaker like dance shoes. I am new to dancing and have some foot issues so I needed something that was as close to a sneaker as I could find. I tried on about five different shoes and this one with going up to sizes fits well. But there is no arch support and you cannot put your own orthotics in them so I will have to glue some arch supports in. They are really fun I ordered the color pink and for West Coast swing I think these will be just the thing

Order 1/2 size larger

This is a beautiful sneaker, lightweight and with the proper spin circles on soles for zumba. I ordered my usual size 9 for sneakers, but with this particular style and brand, go for 1/2 larger. It was too snug to feel comfortable. I am ordering them in 9.5

Run 1 full size smaller than your regular athletic shoe.

I just received these and boy am I glad I read the reviews. I wear a size 10 in athletic shoes - and have had a series of issues with my feet - so I know how shoes are supposed to fit. I bought these in a size 11 and when I stand up - my big toes go almost all the way to the front of the shoe box. I am concerned about the reviews I've read related to them being slippery on wooden gym floors because I'm getting ready to take a Jazzercize Class in a gym.

Cute! Great for dance/cheer

I bought these shoes for a dance team audition. They are super easy to turn in on a gymnasium polished wood floor, but not overly slippery. Literally the perfect middle ground. I love that the shoes are pretty flat so you don’t have to worry about any incline or heel as you dance like most jazz shoes. Also the shoes are super cute and look like regular Nike athletic shoes, just without a logo. Some commenters are saying the shoes fit big, but honestly I almost wish I would have bought a size down just to try because I have just a smidge-bit of room in the toes. Just bear in mind most commenters are using the shoes for Zumba- I’m a young woman and pretty in shape so I don’t have wide feet or anything. If you have normal-sized feet don’t worry about sizing up. If you’re a dancer you’ll know that you want your shoes slightly fitted so you get a good grip to the ground.

Needs arch support to match heel and forefoot support.

I bought these shoes for hip hop and dance fitness classes. I like the shoe overall because it has nice forefoot and heel cushioning but lacks arch support. I added some Dr. Scholl's 3/4 insoles and that works well.

Good dance shoes

I don't understand why the shoe is listed as "athletic shoe" though it came up when I searched for dance sneakers. The forefoot of the sole is designed for dancing. I ordered size 6.5 whereas I wear 6 normally. That came out perfect. There is not much arch support . It is what I prefer any way. The shoes are very comfortable, light and turn/swivel very well. Love them . Will look for another color and stay with this size.

Great shoes until they started to fall apart.

Great shoes until they started to fall apart. I wear these shoes 3 times per week at a kickboxing class, after only 2 months of wear, the bottom pad started coming off (see picture). I love the look and comfort, but the quality is not quite what I expected.

Very comfortable dance shoe

Delivery was quick. Shoes are comfortable and very lightweight. Nice spin spot for turns and easy on the knees.

Excellent for dancing twists and turns

Ok I've found the footsole is great for dancing.. twists and turns. Especially for zumba. Without a slippery footsole I find my knees get very damaged I knew the shoes were narrow so a didn't put socks in when I went to Zumba class and found by the end of class my heels were rubbed raw as the heel fabric is very corse.. this doesn't happen with my other sneakers. And by the time I got home I was limping because my small toes were bruised. I have a wide toe and found that the leather portion at the toe cap bruised my toes. I have now .. using a seam ripper to loosen the leather.. cut out the portion that caused so much pain. I also added moleskin to the heels to stop the rubbing and changed their insoles with memory foam. Was a little bit of a job removing the their insoles I wore the shoes to Zumba today with my alterations and they were fine. I ordered a size up if 6.5uk from my usual UK size of 5.5 and got a 9 USA which should have been ok. I'm trying a 9.5 now from eBay

the sizing inside the shoe is wrong

The Bloch white label shows the wrong size conversion into US sizes. The UK sizing is correct, but when you order from the UK you have to select a UK size. This then gets converted into the US equivalent, but the US equivalent inside the shoe is too large, so you get sent the wrong shoe (One size too small). I have told Amazon this, as has my friend, but two lots of wrongly sized shoes have arrived. I have ordered a third pair, but one size larger than I would normally, so hopefully they are still making the same mistake and I will get the right size shortly. For example, I ordered size 5.5 UK. Inside the shoe this says 8.5 US. This is wrong, it should say 7.5 US. So when the shoes are dispatched from the US, they send a 7.5 US, which arrives as a size UK 4.5, so too small.

Very happy with the purchase

When I ordered the first time it was half a size too small (it was a perfect fit without socks). I sent it back and ordered a new pair and I am overjoyed. They are extremely confortable and my Zumba class have improved????. Highly recommended!
