Narrow which is exactly what I needed
I initially ordered 3 sizes in these—my daughter’s size (6) and the next two sizes up (6.5 & 7). My daughter has a small and very narrow foot and many shoes (including her previous tap shoes from another brand) allow her heel to slip out. She prefers tight fitting shoes and often prefers a size smaller than I’m comfortable with. That being said, despite her preference for tightness, we still had to order way up. She wears a size 6 but we had to place a second order for the 7.5 which finally fit perfectly. If your foot is on the narrow side these should be perfect for you to feel secure and stable while dancing! Trust the reviews when they say to order way up! Like 1.5-2 full sizes up! The laces seem a bit short but the shoe is soft and seems to be well made. The taps are quite thick.

Good Shoes, Tricky Sizing
These tap shoes are priced really well considering they are 100% genuine leather. They are well made and will last a long time. The tricky part is getting the sizing right. I am a true ladies size 7 US and had to order the shoes in Bloch size 8.5. The good thing is that you can return these shoes and have another size sent out at no charge until you get the size that fits just right.

Size runs small. Also, no laces included.
I rated this as 4 stars because the packaging left a lot to be desired, and the laces were missing. The shoes themselves are great quality. Shoes fit as expected, after reading other's reviews to size up. It almost looked like the box we received was a previous return or something, because there were no markings on the box, no formal packaging inside with the shoes, and no laces at all. The shoes do fit daughter better than several other brands we've tried in the past.

Buy a size up
I bought a 9 but should have bought a 10.5. They run small and I was looking for a loose tap, this one was not the shoe I thought it was.

I love these shoes but order up!!
Size up at least 1 to 2 sizes!!! After thirty-something years I have decided to take tap classes again. Well, my feet always hurt no matter what type of shoe I wear, so I knew I would need something with support, as well as something flexible too. I wear a 6.5 to a 7 normally and I ordered these tap shoes in a size 8 and they fit perfectly. I haven't worn them for class yet, but I have been wearing them around the house to break them in and so far, they are super comfortable. As you can see in the pic, the black tap shoe is about the same size, maybe even a tiny bit smaller than my tennis shoe (size 7). So far, I am happy with my purchase!

Arrived without Laces
I keep searching the product description and I do not see where it says that the shoes come without laces. The fit was perfect as to what we expected, but laces. . . Trying to find a way to contact the seller.

Great for beginner
I'm an adult beginner tap dancer. Wad very nervous to buy shoes without trying them on first as I have hard to fit feet (wear from 7-8.5 in major shoe brands, a little bit of extra width and my shoe size shrinks a lot). And as a nurse, I did not want to have torn up feet to deal with. I'm now about 3/4s through my first year of tap (no previous dance experience either) and these have and continue to serve me well. They're still in great condition. Minimal break in period (no damage to my feet at all, wore them a little around the house before the first class). I bought the size recommended by the sizing chart and they were the right size.

Excellent value and great tap shoe!
Love this tap shoe and it's my first time taking tap so these work perfectly! Note that you need to order a size above your regular size for a proper fit.

The product is amazing but you really need to work on the size chart. I didn't expect the shoes to be so small. I am opting for a larger size. Why is there not an option for replacing?

Order one size up!
I liked the shoes and was happy with the price. Unfortunately they were too small and I had to return them, which was an easy process. I am usually a size 6.5 - 7 shoe and ordered a size 7 in the Blochs. Probably could have gone with a 7.5 - 8. Would definitely recommend sizing up one full shoe size as recommended with these! I ended up purchasing a pair of Blochs in a similar style in-store and went with a 7.5. They fit snug at first but, after getting them stretched and breaking them in after a few short wears, they now fit perfectly.

my daughter needed new Tap shoes, she is ladies street shoe size 7, I had to go up to a size 10 to find a pair of tap shoes that fit, I'm not sure why there is such a big difference, normally I only have to go up 1 size, not 3.. that being said, the shoes are well made and she finds them her comfortable.

Perfect shoes
Ordered the wrong size and requested the right size which came within 5 days. The company was great to deal with and the shoes fit perfectly.
